Love the class options, smaller class sizes and the amazing teachers who actually care about each student. They have high standards and push kids to be accountable which is so important for their future! They have so many electives to support your child's interests too! (Drama, Art, Band, Swimming, Sports, Latin, Dance, and so much more) My daughter has done much better at this school compared to the public school in our area and I think it has a lot to do with the positive school environment. Excited she can go all the way through highscool as well. The school sends a weekly update and really makes sure to keep parents engaged! Love HAL so much and highly recommend it!

Please disregard any of the bad reviews on this school. Some reviews are from parents that have children that don't value their own education. Other reviews are being left by fake accounts made by students who no longer go to the school or hate being in school in general.

With that being said:
Heritage Academy Laveen is one of the best schools my child had been to. They are on him like "white on rice" to be better. I truly appreciate the teachers that my son had the privilege of working with the past couple of years. One teacher went above and waaay beyond expected. Truly appreciate their efforts!
This particular school is for driven students, those that want to push themselves and get higher in education as they can. To reach higher, than normal schools would ever take them. There is an expectancy for the students to be there on time, well groomed, in their best behaviour, and also to do the work with no fuss.
I suggest that if your student hates school, this is not the place for them. You can choose the more lackadaisical school next door (east of Heritage) or further down the street to the west of Heritage.
At Heritage you do have to maintain a B average, not C or D or F; also here you will be held back for bad grades. Accountability is key.
All and all Heritage is the best school that has ever happened to us.

I am a student and I can safely say that this school is by far a good school. The school actually requires students to have more credits than the state standard. The teachers are nice and are very open to tutor students. The only bad part is online school, which in my opinion can kiss my rear end. Their IEP is why I stay at this school (yes, I have special needs). This school is small, but this is Laveen and we are right next to Caesar Chavez Highschool, which has a fantastic park, so it does not matter.

I was a student here for 5 years when it first opened and I have just graduated this year (2019). Their mission for our school has always been clear. They teach you of the founding fathers, our founding principles and teach you the importance of our constitution. We are also pushed academically. If you want to work hard, be pushed to your greatest abilities, if you are willing to put in the work and try your best, come here. If you aren't, heritage may not be for you. I'll miss being here and miss being a part of the heritage family. The people here are pretty nice.

Best place I have ever attended as a student. The teachers here give out so much effort in to helping the students understand the subject.

very bad and small school, the teachers dont care about the students. there is small parking lot, bad food, and no library.
