Absolutely thrilled with my experience at UND! I transitioned from private pilot to CFI in just 11 months as part of the Fast-track program, and the journey was fantastic. For me, their top notch maintenance and airplane availability were the major points that helped me make a decision. The instructors are also very knowledgeable and truly buy-in their students’ learning and are committed to our success.

UND Aerospace at Phoenix Mesa Gateway airport is much more than a flight school. This flight training organization has a fleet of near-new G1000-equipped Piper Archers for primary and instrument training. The atmosphere is professional, yet friendly and welcoming. A great place to learn to fly, especially for the career-minded aviation professional.

Enjoying my flight training experience at UND Aerospace Phoenix. I've earned my commercial, instrument and multi-engine certificate/ratings here and am currently enrolled in CFI training. Without a doubt, UND offers professional instructors, exceptional staff, and a fleet of newer Piper aircraft (Archers and Seminoles) that are meticulously cared for. Additionally, UND maintains a robust Safety Management System rivals any airline out there. This school has accomplished what I needed. It prepared me to be a safe pilot, an effective instructor, and a future airline pilot.

My journey to become a professional airline pilot has led me to receive flight training at multiple flight schools. I’ve been able to experience the different training styles of both pt 61 and pt 141 schools, and without a doubt, UND aerospace has been the best experience in my book! I’ve completed my Multi-engine, and CFI ratings at UND and wished I had found this school sooner so that I could’ve done all of my training here.

Every instructor I’ve met whether it was in the lobby, hallway, classroom, or plane has always greeted me with a smile on their face. All the instructors there are very knowledgeable and happy to help with any questions you may have.

I look forward to continuing my training and hopefully my teaching experience here at UND!

I started my flight training here at UND Aerospace Foundation in May 2022 and went from 0-CFI in 12 months. UND is hands down the best flight school in Arizona, and I promise you won't find a better experience anywhere else. Not only does this flight school provide their students with superior training and education, but the staff is committed to the success and wellbeing of their students. UND is more than just a flight school, it's also a second family, and the CFI and management teams go above and beyond to support, encourage, and motivate their students.

If you're looking for a flight training program that is structured and organized, look no further. Both UND's fast track and collegiate programs were designed to provide students with the most efficient and cost effective training. The decision to pursue a career in aviation is a costly investment, which is why it's extremely important to choose a flight school that is focused on making every dollar count.

Maintenance cancellations, weather, and illness are just some of the inevitable issues that any person who is pursuing flight training will experience, no matter what flight school you attend. But, if you're determined and can keep up with the timeline that UND expects their students to follow, you WILL succeed.

Overall, i've greatly enjoyed my time and experience at UND and I would recommend this school to anyone who is interested in pursuing a career in aviation!
