Very professional and helpful from the start. My prep nurse was fantastic! Jessica I believe was her name and she explained everything to me as we went along, she kept me calm and relaxed. The rest of the surgical team was the same, making me feel confident about a successful outcome. The aftercare nurses were great, especially Christina! Even at the horrible hours she had to wake me up for my vitals, she always had a smile, and a fantastic personality! Overall everything went smoothly and I was made comfortable. I was very nervous going in, but the whole team made me feel at ease! I went in for a total knee replacement, and I have to go back in about 6 months to have my other knee replaced. So I will go into that surgery feeling much more relaxed and confident.

Unbelievable amount of time spent waiting last Friday evening. Was in there a little over 5 hours. Just to get a few stitches and tetanus shot!
Was supposed to go back in 7-10 to get stitches out. They started breaking/dissolving in day # three. By day 5 they had disappeared. Been keeping things bandaged so don’t have to redo the stitching! Crazy chaos at times there!

Having the VA check things out Monday!

From the time I checked in to the time I was discharged everyone was professional, understanding, caring and friendly. Most people are probably somewhat nervous going in for a procedure and the staff here was excellent in making me feel comfortable. From the receptionist at the front desk, the pre op room staff, the operating room staff, especially the head nurse, the recovery room nurse and the nurses who tended to me in my room, Thank You very much.

I see why they call you a "patient" because while I had to sit and wait, I watched the people that were supposed to help me chit chat with their co-workers. They don't seem to operate with any sense of urgency. Nice place. Nice people when they are doing their job and not just hanging out, but no urgency at all. Coming in, there was a guy that walked in just before me. Held the door for me. Same bloodwork. Well he left over 20 minutes ago and I'm still waiting here, I'm guessing because they're just in the back talking some more.

I took my sister to ICU because her home health nurse told me after she had some serious issues. They did a bad discharge after she was there 3 days. She could barely walk or eat. I had to call 911 again. They sent her to St. Mary’s she had a cardiac arrest 7 minutes after she was received here at St. Mary’s., Canyon Vista failed her. She is now fighting for her life

It looks like a nice facility, but they have signs everywhere to please be nice and courteous. Maybe if management would fix the systems in place that make it a miserable experience, they wouldn't need those signs. I don't blame the employees, it's the system of, "Sorry, that's not my job and I physically cannot help you because I don't have access."

I had hand surgery at Canyon Vista Medical Center and had a great experience. The staff was professional, courteous, and efficient. My surgery was even scheduled earlier than expected. The doctor, nurses, and anesthesiologist kept me well-informed throughout the process. After the procedure, they provided clear follow-up instructions, both verbally and in written form.
