Best school in Sierra vista! Great staff great teachers and yes if your kid is constantly in trouble then yea they will be in the office like any other school. They are a strict school who wants a rules to be followed. That’s how they keep the school under control.Just hoping they don’t let it get to big but so far we love it. My son went from not succeeding to succeeding in the teacher’s caring and following his IEP. Thank You ALA for being great.

I wish I could do ZERO stars for this school. If you value your child’s mental health DO NOT send them to the middle school or high school. I have never had so many problems with administrators before. They do not care about children and will treat your child like they are a criminal. They do not talk to your kids unless it is to yell at them and berate them and make them feel horrible about themselves. Your child will spend more time in the office than in a classroom. This was the worse experience for my children.

The Staff at ALA, Sierra Vista Virtual Learning Center is amazing! They go above and beyond to help the students learn and retain what they have learned. My daughter absolutely loves it there because the teachers work with her to help keep her caught up. I love it because the communication between the staff and parents is the best I have ever experienced! If I have a question, I simply send the teacher an email and I get a response within 24 hours, usually less. If you have a child that is struggling with regular or online school, ALA is the place to check out! I highly recommend this school!

We love ALA from the staff to the curriculum and the feeling of family our student has there. So excited for the SV location to open the new brick and mortar site next year. Our 7th grader will graduate from here and we couldn't be happier. Small class sizes and the fact that almost all the staff know all of the kids by name....priceless in this day and age. The theater class is robust, science and even PE are great classes as well.

We love ALA! The teachers are great and the small classes are amazing! The curriculum challenges my kids in a positive way!
