My son and I were recipients of one of your food boxes and personal products this past week. It was like Christmas around here!! There's enough food to last a week, and there's a good variety from which to choose. There's even some cookies to satisfy my sweet tooth! The personal products are a Godsend and are already being used.
Brian and I are so thankful we're able to participate in your food box program. You are an amazing, caring, and thoughtful group of people. May God bless each of you for your kindness and compassion.

The salvation Army! is call the salvation Army but if you are part of the army they don't help you. This year is been rough since we moved here since July.
I called before showing up and I even mention that we are in the army just in case that mean something or not to them.
So I came to the location in Sierra Vista thinking that since everything sounds perfect on the phone I wouldn't had a problem. But immediately when I said that we are in the military and I couldn't get my LES she stopped everything and said "oh if you're in the Army this is not for you!. She never ones ask about our financial situation or anything.
All I wanted was some presents for my kids for Christmas, that's all

I'm glad that my savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ doesn't see us like people see us.

This is a wonderful organization that has helped people without criticism or judgement with food, rent, lights or other issues that can cause a disruption in people's lives. They also offer a good bank, senior nutrition baskets and a daily meal. The food prepared is often very tasty and the atmosphere is pleasant.

I really nice place very helpful at times not nearly as friendly and warm as the older location 15 years ago on Wilcox but still a decent place and they do believe that Jesus Christ is Lord so that is awesome kind of institutional and weird compared to the old location though the old location everybody was so personable and there was piano playing during lunch and okay I did have a very bad experience at this new place back in December and I am kind of scared to go back there because some of the volunteers made fun of me. Though the Salvation Army is a great organization praise God is all I can say I just wish it would be a little bit more warm and friendly unless uptight and institutional

Genuine loving caring people who desperately want to help those who want to help themselves. They don't have enough to go around due to all those in need which is understanding. I was grateful even though I was not able to be helped with the things that I needed to be helped with with their guidance and their prayers. Thank you all. Your love was much appreciated.
