I recently graduated from Brookline 05/2024 and the support that I received before/after graduating has been astonishing. I felt instructors Vanessa, Nick, and Rory actually care about the quality and success of the tech's they are sending out to the real world. I always felt heard, supported, and cared for. As their student I felt they took teaching as a passion versus a paycheck. Aside from instructors, Armando Curiel was a huge support system as well. After graduation, he still went above and beyond to send job listings and took time out of his schedule to help with mock interviews, he helped perfect my resume and helped me understand what recruiters are looking for therefore helping me obtain the job I worked so hard for.

My experience here was great and my teacher was very nice and attentive. However when It comes to the financial aid department, I was falsely advised to keep a financial aid check that I had received in the mail after asking them if I should turn it in to the school. They told me my balance was zero and that I could cash the check. Months after graduating I was told I owed $2,000. Now, I am being sent to debt collection. The financial/clerical services here are very unprofessional and not interested in really digging for answers. Take yourself to community college it’s cheaper and more accountable.

The MA in person instructor, Josephine Alcantar, was honestly the best. She was very attentive of her students and made sure that everyone succeeded. I truly felt like all the staff that was there on campus was helpful whenever I needed anything, especially with having to make an hour commute to school. Being an ambassador was a really great experience because I was able to help out my other classmates and just interact with the rest of the students as well. Through my externship I was able to be hired so I’m very grateful for everything that Brookline College and their staff did for me! I would personally recommend this school to anyone who is looking to go into a Medical Assistant program.

I just graduated from Brookline College here in tucson. The entire staff is amazing. My instructors were all very helpful and understanding. The admin staff is incredible and always check in to see how things are going or if you need anything. I will absolutely recommend this school for any of the programs that they offer.

RAQUEL in Tucson FA office is the worst advisor I have ever had. To the point that I have just dropped out the first week of school. I started my student loans end of September, and now December 5th I am done. She had me restart my loans twice, and even then she couldn't get it right. She would admit that changes made would require me to do extra steps, but wouldn't tell me those steps until it was denied and then I had to do it all over. Lied about time it takes for loans to get disbursed, and would not be avaliable to talk for a week, sometimes more. If this is how they treat you before you give them your money, imagine how they would after you are locked in. Judy the admission director was awesome and did try to help. Just seems the company didn't care. STAY AWAY!!!!

Update: They reached out to me. I was told that I would be withdrawn from the program. But I wasn’t told that I was supposed to speak with financial aid. They said that Brian would be in contact with me about switching to MA. But at this point, I’m giving up on this school all together.

I really don’t even know where to begin..
For one, the only time they were helpful was when I decided to join the program. They were constantly calling me and making sure I filled out the financial forms and what not. And after reading these reviews, it seems clear what the intention is. They said everything would be online but I was not aware I had to go to the campus for my books. I wasn’t even aware that I was supposed to go log into zoom for a lecture from 8AM-12PM online because my syllabus didn’t even say that. I had issues with my teacher who decreased my grade by 20% just for not having my camera on and I also put my job on the line because they will not work around your schedule or be understanding of your life circumstances even though that’s what they claim to be able to do.
So, I gave them a call and asked if I could please talk to someone about withdrawing from the program. Im not sure who answered but they said “well, I’m just gonna transfer you over to the director of the program to see if you guys could figure it out before you withdraw.”
LIKE? Why? I’m sure of my decision.
I don’t want to waste my FAFSA for this. I will be calling again and updating this review.
In the beginning, I was also told that if I decide to withdraw, the money that was used would go back to FAFSA. So, let’s hope that is still the case.
I also called Pima Community College and they practically giggled when I asked them if credits from Brookline were transferrable.
I was hopeful; but now I’m really disappointed.

Do not go there! … unless you go for MA. The night instructor is the best! Also the career guy. As far the morning one not so professional. But do research and lots of it …because you can save yourself a lot of money if you do research. Some hospitals can train for free, I did not know any of this until I went for externship!!! Please do research! I am talking from experience and I did completed the program. This comment is coming from my experience at Brookline.
