Owner is very rude and condescending. My daughter did a mommy and me class at the associated dance studio many years ago and she rubbed me the wrong way back then; however, the boutique being the only dance clothing and shoe store on the mountain, I've shopped there a few times out of convenience. I called this afternoon to see if the boutique or the studio does some sort of buy back or donation for gently used tap shoes to see if I can go up in size at a discounted/used price as well as donate the now too small shoes as a trade. I was met with the most atrocious attitude asking if I'm a member of the dance studio and was told she wouldn't work out a donation or trade for a size up with me because I don't belong to her studio which is fine, these are her businesses to run the way she chooses, but the attitude that went along with her statement was unacceptable as a business owner. I'd have maybe one day (when my daughter is older) switched to her studio as its more intense and prestigious but considering the exchange I just had with her, I will not only NEVER sign my child up for her studio nor will I EVER purchase a single item from her boutique. I told her I bought tap shoes from her about 8 months ago so she knew I was a past customer and still had the audacity to speak to me like I was a second class citizen.

Honestly when we came today we were very courteous and were not hostile at all. But the staff were keeping an eye on my mother and my brother's girlfriend (we are all Hispanic) and even asked my mom where she had put the stuff she was looking at and MADE SURE it was in the right place. It was humiliating and very racist and I will not tolerate it

I love this store. They have so much cute stuff it was hard to leave empty handed. My babygirl picked a beautiful ballerina🩰

However, I interested to buy a ring but the clerk had no idea what was made of, she assumed it was Sterling silver but we checked and it didn't had any numbers on it to prove it...I unfortunately for that reason didn't buy it because my skin is very sensible to certain materials. I was more concerned of her trying to sell something she said it was silver and it was not, but she at least was friendly, and tried to help somehow.
