This place is a scam.

Gave them copies of every piece of personal information (resume, drivers license, passport, social security card, transcripts, diplomas, etc.) in order to apply for a grant they were promoting.

As soon as they got all my information, they said I don't qualify and would not submit my application.

Dropped in to get a second opinion after wasting an hour talking to a "coach." A director was in, but I left after waiting an hour for her to come out. She called as I got in my car to leave, but was not helpful.

In my opinion, this place is a waste of taxpayer money. Perhaps someone is benefitting, but not this lifelong DuPage County resident.

Do not waste your time applying for a grant , I applied because i qualified for the grant, after weeks of getting the run around I was told they could not offer me anything due to not finding a direct hire position by the manager for the certification I needed . My assigned counselor yisel was not very responsive during this process either. Overall a waste of my time for being a government funded program that’s supposed to assist people to advance their career.

This program is amazing to get assistance to pay for a trade training. WIOA really helped me start my nursing career. Dioseline was wonderful, communicative and supportive throughout my training. She is extremely professional and so polite. A true joy! It’s wonderful that adults in need can further their education and get a trade with help and resources of work net dupage. Getting a certification once you’re an adult can be challenging with other life stressors but this program has helped eliminate some of those stresses. So honored to have been a part of WIOA. They really help you succeed and care about your career!
