Pat is an excellent dog trainer. It has been years since I had a dog and last Christmas We gave our 10 year old son a German Shepard Puppy — Rosie. We love our Rosie but she is a high drive dog and can be very difficult. I had no idea how to handle this awesome dog. Pat was able to show me, my son, and my Wife how to walk in heel without Rosie pulling us all over place. Shepards never give-up!! Also he showed us how to have a well behaved dog in the house and car. How to make her sit still and down stay and all kinds of little tricks or hacks to get our dog to listen. He is never pressed for time and is very patient dealing with us. He is worth every dollar. I had complements from our vet and other people how well behaved our dog is. Don’t hesitate to use Pat. He is a good trustworthy man.

Pat made a world of difference in my chocolate lab. We did obedience training. He found my dog’s drive and we used it to work good habits and a great bond. He taught me how to be a better handler to my pet. I’d say the level of fun we have now is higher than before we found Pat. Towards the end he showed me what my dog is capable of in terms of scent and protection work. Pat may have given me a new hobby. I honestly can’t recommend him enough. I would work with Pat anytime.

Pat trained our 1 year old pit bull Thunder. He was very patient with him and us. Thunder has become a completely different dog thanks to him. We would have never done it without him. There aren't that many dog trainers on the South Side of Chicago, or they're just not willing to come to my area (Chicago Lawn/Englewood)
The reason I chose Pat is because I work a 9-5 and he made things 100x easier by coming to my home and training my puppy, Sammy.
Pat not only trained my dog but he trained me, and that was worth every penny I paid. With Pat I seen instant results, I'd recommend him to anyone.
I also gotta say ever since Pat's training I got a lot of compliments on how well behaved my dog is.

Pat trained our Pitbull we adopted from CACC in April. She was a about a year old when we brought her home. We started training with Pat in April and finished in June. Pat did an excellent job training her and us. Not only is she well trained, but we have taken the lessons we learned from Pat and kept training her .
We did basic training. Pat isn't cheap, but what comes with that is paying half up front, then paying the other half when he is done (he even worked with us at the end since our other dog just died after chemo). Which means he comes 1-3 times a week. He trains until your done. There isn't a set time limit for a session or the contract. He goes until you are done.
I waited to post this because I wanted to see how our pup did long after the training. She is still doing great without Pat. And we have been able to take what we learned and continue training her. Everyone is surprised at how well trained she is. We get lots of compliments and more importantly she is a well trained Pitbull who is very loving and can show that without people being scared.
I would send friends and family to Pat if they are willing to pay what is needed to train their dog well.

I’ve been working with Pat for a couple years now. We were having trouble with our 2 male dogs that were united through a blended family. At a point of feeling hopeless we made contact with Pat and sensing that we had an urgent matter came over the same day and went right to work. He spent a lot of time training both dogs and also training me on signs to look for and how to better manage the matter. I found it so informational that after the basic training I continued on with the younger dog and did it advanced and protective training. Thanks Pat !

Pat is the Chicago Dog Whisperer. I thought the dog we rescued was untrainable. The day Pat came in to our home the dog responded like magic... something I didn’t think was possible. Pat taught me how look for cues from the dog, how often to train, and most importantly to be patient. He gave me the tools to teach the dog. Pat is very knowledgeable.
