Some of the "reasons" expressed for not giving five stars are pretty stupid. These people handle working with our ignorant public better than I ever could, my hat is off to them.

Internet is ungodly slow. Nearly useless. Librarian also happened to stop a kid and mother from playing (it wasn't insanely loud or ridiculous). That was pretty Wild.

Happy place! Love the librarians! Rock Falls has wonderful librarians who are a wealth of knowledge and assistance about the area. Also, when you enjoy something, a book, a movie, etc., let the librarians know, then they can recommend to others.

The library is a very nice library. They have computers that are for public use. You have to have a library card from that library. If you need to copy any papers they will do it for you for 25 cents each. They have a selection of newspapers to read every morning. They have a mice children's section if you want to get out of the house for awhile with your kids. Masks are currently required.

We are fortunate to have such great staff at our library. They always greet us with a smile, exchange a bit of conversation and are very helpful.

Restrooms are kept locked. The key must be requested. Fastest download speed (internet) is ~580 KB/s. Bring a sweater. Other than that, their library is decent.

Of the many miles I've run, walked, & biked, I have not seen any public restrooms, port-a-potties, or drinking fountains in Rock Falls. Their Walmart is not a supercenter.
