My daughter has mild autism and was struggling with Math and Reading in her 3rd grade gen ed classes. I am definitely NOT a teacher and really didn’t know how to help her other than to get her into outside tutoring. Her former ABA therapist recommended Sylvan KW as a great place that a lot of her current students parents used and spoke highly of. So my daughter started in September of 2024 and is still currently attending. She was failing math and reading (report card grades of 50s) and I am thrilled to report she is now passing both classes!! The best part is she LOVES going. In fact she often says she would rather go to school for social time and do all her learning at Sylvan. She loves everyone there from the tutors to the directors because they are all so kind and patient. They really keep her motivated. Ms Jeneisa (director) checks in with me monthly about her progress and keeps a great line of communication going. They are flexible with scheduling and also have a variety of payment options. So if you’re currently researching places to send your kiddo, look no more. Call Sylvan KW now!! 😃

My daughter was struggling in school. I was not sure how to help her at home. I looked into sylvan. Made an appointment. I was very pleased with the director she explained everything how they worked. Also answered our questions. My daughter has been going there 2 months. Teachers there are wonderful. They have helped my daughter so much. She's doing better in school.

Sylvan has by far been one of the best choices I could have made for my daughter this year. The progress she has made from lake of confidence, shyness and being behind. She grown so much just in the few short months we have been attending! She wants to picks up books to read, do math and loves her handwriting lessons. The staff so kind and very genuine about making sure your child is ready for the next level. I appreciate the time they spend with her and the dedication they have with the kids! We will definitely continue to grow here at sylvan !

Sylvan of Kingwood has played a tremendous role in my daughters academic progress. From the beginning of her entering the program until now she raves about how much she enjoys attending, and feels more comfortable approaching her academics. Sylvan is Amazing! I have used Sylvan two times. Once with my daughter in the 90's and now with my niece.
My daughter's life was forever changed by attending Sylvan. She struggled so hard with reading.
After just a few short weeks she was reading on her grade level. She fell in love with books.
My niece tested on a much lower grade level than she was and now she is making excellent strides.
The Staff at the Kingwood location is amazing.
From the Director, Ms Kaylon to the front office staff and all the teachers at the Kingwood location.
I know that my niece is safe when I drop her off.
I know that she is learning.
I see the results daily.
Sylvan is a game changer!!!

There program really works. They will set up a plan for your child. My son is 7 yrs old and was behind on his reading. He had issues with his phonics. This program has helped him feel confident when reading and my son has reached to second grade reading level. In the beginning my son hated reading and was ashamed now he has the confidence and is ready for 2nd grade.

Our daughter been going Sylvan Learning Center since June of this year for summer camp. Babygirl absolutely love it. She goes 4 days a week and she be so excited to see all her teachers, friends, and the staff. She has came along way since she started the Reading program at Sylvan. Her reading and confident in reading has improved so much. My husband and I are very pleased with her progress. The staff and teachers are amazing. They keep you updated on the child’s progress each month and they are great at having good communication with the parents and being very thorough. We are so happy that we chose Sylvan for her.
