The Clear Lake &Webster Sylvan learning center is wonderful. My son is in third grade and was struggling with reading. Both his grades and confidence were low.
Within just a couple of weeks of tutoring both his teachers and I noticed a significant improvement in his reading skills. His grades are improving and so is his confidence.

The entire staff at the center are great to work with. My son has great things to say about all his tutors. They are flexible and understanding in regards to scheduling.

Thank you thank you thank you! I started at Sylvan in Clear Lake after report cards continued to get worse even with extra tutoring and accommodations at school for the past few years. Within the first month, the difference Sylvan made for us was night and day! There's absolutely nothing like the one on one attention they offered my son and we are finally seeing his confidence and love for school returning along with better reports from school. All the teachers are so caring. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something that will actually make a difference because school will not look out for your kid 👍

The staff here worked wonders for my 5th grader. We've been coming here about a year and over that time her confidence has skyrocketed. When she started, every day was a battle at school and come to find out she was almost two years behind in math and reading comprehension. Now she's almost caught up and actually reads...for FUN! Her teachers at school are impressed and think she's on track for testing 👏 Thank you!

Do not go here if you value your money. I was told that in order to receive the "discounted" rate of $50/hr for one on one tutoring we would need to pay for 16 classes up front. We paid the $800 and after classes being canceled and lack of one on one attention we ended classes early. When we first spoke with Andrew about receiving a refund for the remaining 6 classes he said it would not be a problem and he would request a refund with the main offices.

Here we are two months later... phone calls being ignored to the point we had to go up there in person to see what was going on. Andrew came and spoke with us saying his bank had flagged a different refund that was issued at the same time as fraud and had no money to pay us back but would call us within the week to let us know. Still no phone call, still no refund, awful customer service. Fraud or not the communication and organization at this place of business is the worst I've seen. I don't often write reviews but this deserved one and if something changes I will adjust my review.

My son enjoys going to Sylvan Learning Center. He goes twice a week and works on Language Arts and Math) The teachers and owner are very nice and work well with him. They always keep me informed of his progress and what he needs to work on or already does well.
My son is homeschooled and they always check to see what he is working on and try to assist, if he is having trouble in a specific area, other than what they had planned on working on that day.
He has definitely made a lot of progress with their help. I would definitely recommend the center to anyone who's child needs extra help or enrichment.

I enrolled my daughter in Sylvan, and the tutor did a great job with her. However, due to financial difficulties, we had to cancel the tutoring. I followed the steps to receive a refund, but despite this being from last year, I still have not received the refund. Andrew has been ignoring my calls and has not taken any action to help me get my refund. The only reason I am giving a four-star review is because of the amazing tutor; otherwise, I would give zero stars!

Best experience here at Sylvan Learning Center. My daughter has gone here for the 2 months, and has improved tremendously in that amount of time. Excited for her to continue her journey here!
