I hired Ray when he was recommended by a tutor from my child's current school district. My child has never excelled in math and has always found it difficult. Surprisingly my child enjoyed their time spent learning the material and looked forward to their sessions. Ray made it all a very easy process and I looked forward to welcoming him into our home during our sessions. We hired Ray for our granddaughter this summer to review eighth grade math and prepare her for Algebra in High School. As she has ADHD, she was not the easiest candidate to tackle. Ray was unfazed by this and was not only able to keep her attention throughout all those hours but instilled so much new confidence in her ability to master math! My son began the ninth grade struggling in his honors geometry class. He finished the first quarter with a 77%. We quickly knew he needed some additional support.
My son began working with Ray on Sundays in person and then via zoom. After the first session, my son had a big smile on his face and said, “it went great! Thank you for finding this guy to help me.” Ray’s knowledge combined with his patience and thorough explanations is a recipe for success. By the second quarter my son had a 91 in math and by the third quarter a 97! We are so grateful for the knowledge and confidence Ray helped our son achieve!
