I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude and admiration for the incredible work done by Fierce Women of Faith, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and fostering positive change in communities. This organization has been instrumental in transforming lives in Englewood, Chicago, through its impactful programs, including mentorship initiatives, enriching camp field trips for children, and unwavering dedication to violence prevention. By offering children opportunities to explore, learn, and grow in safe environments, Fierce Women of Faith has provided hope and inspiration to families in the area, creating lasting memories and shaping brighter futures.
On a personal note, this organization has profoundly impacted my family. Through its commitment to prayer, advocacy, and support, Fierce Women of Faith played a pivotal role in freeing my uncle from prison. Their dedication to his case, combined with the spiritual encouragement they provided during his incarceration, gave him strength and hope during one of the most challenging times of his life. Upon his release, my uncle expressed immense gratitude for the organization’s efforts. Their unwavering belief in his potential for redemption and their guidance helped him rebuild his life with renewed purpose and positivity.
Today, my uncle is thriving and continues to credit Fierce Women of Faith for the transformative role they played in his journey. This organization’s ability to combine faith-based initiatives with actionable community support exemplifies its mission to uplift individuals and families. Fierce Women of Faith is not just a beacon of hope—it is a catalyst for change that continues to make an enduring impact on the lives it touches. I am forever grateful for their work and proud to share their story.
Sincerely,
David Jones Carroll

My experience with Fierce Women of Faith is Prayer and Faith works! Their leader is a woman of Faith that grew up believing that God CAN…and Will do anything and everything but fail! When you live your life like this people are drawn because they need and want what you have! This is an organization of women that trust and believe God for you and with you!

The amount of care that this team provides is unmatched. They are very caring, they listen, and help you come to a resolution that is in your best interest. They even take the time to pray through situations that seem overwhelming for you. And on top of it, all, they do it with a smile that makes you feel important and cared about.

"The Fireplace", thats how some have referred to it. There is a place you go to and you know that regardless of how grave and desperate your experience with violence and gun related trauma is, you will get help. From counseling to real interventions, everyone there is able to attend to you; whether it's the receptionist, the field officer or the presedent Dr. Marcenia herself, everyone deals tenderly and professionally with you. Feedback from some ex-victims and their experiences at the hands of the staff at Fierce Women of Faith, maintains that this place should be renamed solace. It's why you will always find people there waiting for that much needed help, in and out of season. You go in victimized and leave vitalised. One dear lady said "I don't know who gets me better, my shrink or these guys". If there is anything that the state of Chicago is doing right, it is to support and uphold such private entities in a State with such a profile. I don't know if they already do but if companies in Chicago were woke and cared about violence prevention and rehabilitation as the State did, they would deliberately chanel part of their CSR budgets to entities such as these. FWF is a beam of hope in Chicago.

People inside was helpful cause I never been here before. I was here at the Christmas party where I got a bus card, gift stocking full of goodies, and a poinsettia. I helped get stuff together I came too early. They had special guests that performed for us. Make long story short. I really enjoyed it.
