Great spot for the family to get some fresh air and enjoy nature. Plenty of trails to explore. Signs identifying local wildlife and plants. Inside the center there’s a nice museum and play area for kids. I have a 2 and 4 year old and they loved it here! We spent about 2 hours there which was perfect for them.

I visited here yesterday with my friend. I hadn't been in so long. What a beautiful , updated nature center. The original schoolhouse is still standing but closed while a brand new building is there with handicap accessible building, restroom and trail.
There is a picnic area. There are plenty of benches to sit and look at , listen to and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature.
Family fun for all ages.

This nature center is really cool!

It has a main building with nice restrooms and sitting area with books for kids and a chalk board.

There is cool taxidermy on display as well as some live animals such as snakes and spiders.

There is an old red school with other old items on display from past times.

The trails are really nice and well marked. There were birds everywhere as well as some coyotes, which is why you can bring your dogs.

I had a great time!

Absolutely legendary place. I've been going there since my parents took me when I was a small child. I'm now 34 and just took my daughter there for the 1st time and it still delivers. Great place to have an afternoon outing the family! Extremely educational as well!

I 100% love of this place and I pray to God that he lets me go back. The inside of I think it's called the little Greenhouse don't quote me on that though where they have the exhibits and stuff and the my favorite snapping turtles which are so beautiful. But if you love nature you want to get out and just breathe the Clean Air see God's creation I would 100% recommend this place and if you go you're going to go back!
