After a serious illness, I lost my job and had to move. With Covid in full force many shelters were full and I had no friends or family in the area. Darius not only found a place that was reported full but paid for a cab to take me there after hours! I was at my lowest point and they treated me like I was someone important. Now the wonderful shelter I stay at is helping me find a job and the Coalition is helping me find a home. It was horrible to lose so much of my mobility, but Darius and the Coalition gave me hope.
