I’ve been seeing Dr. Tu for several years now, and I think he’s fantastic! He has never let me down as a doctor and is a very kind man. He just doesn’t go along with stupid questions. If you want a real experienced doctor who knows exactly what he’s talking about and doesn’t beat around the bush, Dr. Tu is your guy!

I was very pleased by my experience with Dr. Tu, and, frankly, I'm surprised to see such negative reviews. If you're looking for a dermatologist to hold your hand and sing sweet songs to you, then do NOT visit Dr. Tu. However, if you're looking for a thorough, direct, and experienced professional who'll identify the issue and how to fix it, Dr. Tu is for you! He was very understanding during my health scare, and compassionate in his own way. I'll be recommending Dr. Tu to others!

It was my first time going Dermatology Associates of Rochester and he made me feel like I was wasting his time. I had an 8am appointment, so I know I was his first patient of the day. I tried explaining how I have two moles that look concerning. They've gotten bigger and are two toned. He spent, and I'm not exaggerating, less than 1 second looking at each of them. He said I can't just get them removed because I don't like them and all but had to get him to say he'd do a biopsy on them. He is rude and is incredibly dismissive. The woman in the room working with him had such an apologetic look on her face while he was talking so rude to me. I honestly feel bad that she probably has to deal with him most days. If you have to go here I DO NOT recommend seeing Dr. Tu. I will be going to a different dermatology place to have my moles actually looked at. I do not want this doctor touching me at all and will not schedule my biopsy with him. He's the worst doctor I have ever interacted with.

I did not have a good experience with this doctor and found him quite rude. I agree with other reviews that his bedside manner is severely lacking. I was there for a whole body check and he was probably in the room for maybe 3 minutes. Will not be seeing him
again and would never recommend him to anyone!

I’m not sure why Dr.Tu only has 2 stars. I found him to be very professional and to the point . He listened to me, checked my areas of concern and gave me his opinion. I had one thing removed from my face. It was quick and pretty much painless. Will the MA was great too.

Saw Dr Tu for the first time today and will not be returning. He was more distracted by my mosquito bites than the condition I came in looking to get treated, I didn't feel very confident with the diagnosis he gave me and the bedside manner was definitely lacking

Awful experience ever! I brought my mom to examine her skin condition in order to prescribe appropriate treatment. This doc was very rude, did not even look at her skin, said that she has to come at least 10 times in this office to understand what kind of disease she got. SO, we never showed up there again, and never recommend this awful person to be your doctor!!!(((((((

did a biopsy for skin cancer. He scared me and said I had a brown spot under my eye. I asked him what it was and he said "You are just getting older." Thanks a lot. He's about my age. All together, not good. Insulted my plastic surgeon too.
