Had played the first 9 holes golf here and it is a nice course with just enough huddles like bunkers and lakes. Had a great time playing. Wish the restaurant does not close so soon. By the time we finished our round of golf they were ready to shutdown the bar/restaurant

I had Nikah (Islamic marriage) ceremony at Chevy Chase Country Club in their Devonshire room in December of 2018. My primary contact at Chevy Chase was Kelsi who was BEYOND phenomenal! Every step from booking, to planning, to the set up the day of the event went as smoothly as it possibly could have thanks to Kelsi and the other wonderful team members at Chevy Chase.

The booking process was fairly straight forward. We went and looked at the spaced and discussed packages. Kelsi was nice enough to put our date on hold while we were still exploring our options.

Approximately a month before the event date we also sent over our list of vendors as they do need to be registered at the venue. They do require all vendors, particularly caters, to be licensed and insured.

The day of the event I arrived early to meet the decorator, make final adjustments on the setup, and to get my makeup done. The staff that oversaw the set up was incredibly nice and accommodating! I was going through usual wedding day jitters but they took care of everything without me having to lift a finger!

I was able to get ready in their AMAZING bridal ready room. It was the perfect place for me to just sit and relax for a few minutes before getting back into the craziness of the day.

Throughout the event, the staff was totally on schedule by putting the food out, cleaning up, and ultimately wrapping things up at the end of the night. They were always one step ahead and prepared for anything they came their way.

The only piece of feedback I would give is I wish they were a bit more flexible with the days they allow for outside catering. As of right now, Chevy Chase only allows for outside catering on Sundays. I completely understand why this is the case; however, the flexibility would be nice. Indian/Pakistani events are always huge on food so we were unable to stick to the in house catering. Perhaps if they were able to partner with different kinds of vendors or expand their outside catering policy we could have more options. Again, I completely understand why the current policy is in place, it would just be nice to have the option.

Overall, I would recommend anyone thinking of having their event at this venue to totally go for it with complete confidence that your event will go off without a hitch!

My husband and I got married at Chevy Chase August 24th of this year! We had our ceremony on the first tee and our reception in the Devonshire Room! I can not say enough about how amazing everything was! The first day we walked into the venue we fell in love! It is absolutely gorgeous! The staff is so laid back and so helpful. They made us feel so comfortable! We looked at a few other venues prior to this one and when we left Chevy Chase we could confidently say this was the one! JAN IS AMAZING!!!! She worked with us closely to coordinate everything. She is so patient and so kind and you can tell she really cares so much about her brides! She was always so prompt to answer any questions I had through the year of planning. She truly made the entire experience so easy and stress free! When the big day came the venue was decorated so beautifully! The food was so delicious! For the main course we had the chicken and sirloin combo plate with scalloped potatoes and carrots + zucchini. WOW! The bar tenders were phenomenal and our event manager Nate was great! He was very attentive and made sure everything went smoothly the entire night! I can not say enough good things about this place!! Thank you so much to the amazing staff at Chevy Chase!

Large ballrooms for events. The food was excellent, and I give the service a 5 plus star rating. Staff was awesome and very attentive. Beautiful setting and a great place for a wedding.

We had our wedding at Chevy Chase in June 2019 Devonshire room- coordinator: Jan . The venue is absolutely perfect and beautiful. Getting everything started there the coordinators were very nice in their tour and everything was great. They offer a package where they give you a wedding coordinator too. I would HIGHLY recommend you hire your own. They are far too busy and don't ACTUALLY help with coordinating at all. The day of my photographer was getting mixed up on the timeline and none of my bridal party knew what to do. It was a mess and I ended up doing it myself ( THE BRIDE) I think the venue should work on setting expectations because if I would have known that's how it was going to go then I would have just hired someone. Secondly-- the food tasted TOTALLY different then the tasting and was extremely late. For a while people were coming up to me saying " we need to either open the bar or do something the food is taking too long" Again-- I think if you hire a wedding coordinator they can help to better plan things to avoid this. all in all everything went fine and was still the best day but was pretty stressful for me to try to coordinate everything on my own wedding day. I don't really blame the staff really I think its just the structure of how everything works. They are nice people that are trying their best but can only do as much as they can do. Hope this helps someone in the future when deciding if they need a wedding planner at this venue with their packages.

Terrible place to play golf. Never coming here again. The starter Ranger is super sexist and ageist... I look young, but I am not, which is even worse. I am not a perfect golfer, but I enjoy coming out and learning to become better. My first hole, I took a bad shot. This individual has the audacity to come to me and tell me " I want you to have fun, but I need you to make sure you do not fall behind the guys in front of you." Seriously? All because I took my first bad shot. So disrespectful. I do not recommend coming here, as they judge you. It is sick... I have played many times and never been so disrespected in my life. I get how the game of golf is, I am not dumb. If I have a bad shot, I do not redo it, because I do not want to waste time. I know the rules of the game. I do not need some older man telling me how to play.

Also, the carts say " in restricted area," when you are not in one. I was on the normal path, not on the grass... had to drive backwards to get to my next hole. You pay a decent amount to play a round of golf, and you have to deal with faulty golf carts. Ridiculous. Do not waste your time here and go elsewhere. Trust me.

We just had our wedding in the Grand Ballroom a few weeks ago and it was AMAZING!!! The venue recently had face lift. The place has been completely remodeled and it unbelievable. If you haven't been there in the last 6 months - you have to check it out.

The staff at Chevy Chase is very helpful and responsive. Big shout out to Jan Berg, she made this whole wedding planning process as smooth as it could be. From day one when we booked til the day of the wedding, Jan, provided timeline suggestions, vendor recommendations, planing guides, etc. She's a pleasure to work with and always greeted us with a smile. The staff made sure all of our questions were answered on a timely manner. On the day of the wedding, Jorge did a great job following up with us throughout the day to ensure everything was going according to my timeline.

We had over 250 guests and til this day everyone can't stop talking about how great the customer service was, how beautiful the venue was and how everything was well organized through cocktail hour, dinner, and the rest of the night. I highly recommend this venue and I wish I can give them more stars as they are well deserved.

The food is delicious, the venue is beautiful and best of all the location is great - near by restaurants, bars, hotels.

Nice area. Good place for those who wish to golf. Venue area with very large banquet for private or public venue such as mother's day and such.
