RSM's program is great but with the changes this year, things are going downhill. I have multiple children enrolled for the past 3 years and will definitely not continue next year.

There are absolutely no make ups for missed lessons (even for reasons beyond your control such as kids getting sick), which is not acceptable given the lesson cost.

When we first started, few years ago, I saw significant improvement once we got to mid year. This year, class size is larger but also I am not seeing the progress I expected, particularly for my elementary school child.

I would go with 1, +1 star for front desk lady , very nice and kind.
Director is kinda pushy and rude,in the end it's our problem that my son didn't improve his skills after 6 months of studying here.
The programm is very basic and nothing extraordinary here. Feel scammed.

The staff are not friendly, they are rude, it used to be good when Ms Anna was in charge. My kid did not like the class and the teacher. Kids have hard time understanding their English, they are not friendly, kid might loose interest in Math if you enroll them in RSM. 0 STAR if there is an option.

I don’t really like this class; my son doesn’t even learn new things in these classes. Moreover, they are very money-hungry, prioritizing profit over education. Their payment system is extremely flawed, making it inconvenient for parents. It’s not even worth that kind of money. I won’t sign my son up for this course anymore

My grandchildren have been attending RSM for 4 and 6 years, respectively. There is no doubt experience they have been getting is a great contribution to their overall development, maturation. Most importantly, RSM approach to training promotes enthusiasm and appreciation of mathematical and general educational expertise, knowledge acquisition. Students are prompted to improve attention, focusing, develop structured and flexible, smart ways of solving problems and formulating decisions in clear and concise style. RSM program is a great addition, enrichment to general school education. Our experience has been excellent in terms of teachers professionalism, expertise, individual approach to students of different academic acumen, learning skills. Class sizes are just perfect.

The value of RSM education has been especially evident during this difficult time when normal school routine suddenly became unavailable due to coronavirus pandemia. It was truly amazing how expeditiously and efficiently RSM staff was able to switch to on-line classes. Both student and parent web portals have been performing consistently and smoothly, are efficient, user-friendly, and kids just love those.

Because of COVID situation and shortcomings of remote learning at their public school, my grandchildren have recently transferred to a private school with quite demanding curriculum. It is beyond any doubt RSM training has been essential in their ability to catch up with advanced programs from the get-go.

It is with great pleasure that I express sincere gratitude to RSM staff. Our family has recommended the school to many friends and relatives who have been big fans and sincere admirers of the institution.

These all 5 star ratings are just fake. Its their friends or teachers rated themselves.
But in the reality there are huge differences. Their program only for a talented kids with mathematics. Their program doesn’t match the IL schools program. Also they are asking money first. Their number#1 priority is the business income not the kid’s need.

If you want your kid to excel in math, develop strong foundation and love for the subject then Russian School of Mathematics is the place to go. My daughter started struggling with math in public school in 5th grade and it was also reflected in her MAP test scores. We tried different home tutors but didn’t see any improvement. At that time RSM had just opened a new branch in Wheeling and I decided to take my daughter there. In just half a year I could see that my daughter had a tremendous growth in her MAP test scores from 69 to 97 percentile. Since we started attending RSM, 5 years ago, mathematics has been one of my daughters’ favorite and strongest subjects at public school. In addition my daughter has developed very strong work ethic and time management skills. I can’t thank enough Ms. Anna Kozhemyakov and her team for the personal approach and incredible passion for each students’ success

Absolutely wonderful school. They don’t just teach kids mathematics but also logic and lot of very important concepts that will stay with them throughout life. Teachers are very kind and professional.
