August 2024 - this course is officially getting run down. Greens in terrible shape, weeds abound and the grounds are no longer well cared for. Used to be a great little course for kids and families but it’s honestly a little embarrassing looking. With the resources Cantigny has and the revenue surrounding communities commit to the youth links, do better folks, do better.

I love playing the course with my 10 year old and would rate it as 5 stars but is it super tough tough to get hold of anyone to book a tee time, particularly on a weekday.

Cantigny Youth Links. You are either open or closed, we can handle either but please don’t pretend to be open and be impossible to reach. What’s the point of having an answering machine, if it takes your forever to get back to people. I know it may not be feasible to open everyday, so why not reduce the days and staff accordingly?

Played the Cantigny Youth links with 2 of my Grandkids, ages 11 and 9 and their Dad for Father's day. We had a blast, the course is very well designed for junior players along with enough diversity for older players to enjoy the 9 hole course. The club house has enough treats and equipment just for the juniors.

IMO, the best place to take your kids for lessons due to the course designed specifically for kids. The walk to the first tee can be a bit of trek down the trail for a child carrying a bag. The staff in the pro shop is always friendly to the kids.
