What can I say? Though it's now a nuclear society HQ, I went to middle school here when it was Oak Middle School, circa 1962-1963. Coach Seibel, mrs Dogherty the scince teacher, and mr. Pierson the English teacher all guided me in those formative years. My music teacher and the library science teacher, Mrs. Rosenberg, were both critical in my learning to love music as well as books. The auditorium visible in the photos I posted (it has the wall of tall windows and trees), though now a giant, messy storage room, was a place where I had gym classes and once recited Lincoln's Gettsyburg Address to a crowd of parents at our 8th grade graduation ceremonies. Pure fear pervaded as I inched my way through it, but I did.

Can you say "Dewey Decimal System"? I can still use it, can you?
