Aaron was absolutely amazing. We needed to gear for an upcoming tournament and we weren’t gonna get there till 10 minutes after close. We called and Aaron kept the shop open just for us. Purchased the most simplest product possible and still managed to screw it up. Sent goods with price tags glued on. How tacky. Should have known I would get this type of quality out of an Illinois based company. Par for the course out of that wonderful state…

This is my favorite fishing/tackle shop in the Chicagoland area. They carry everything I’m looking for and are very eager and willing to order things that I need or special product request I have. In addition to all the traditional staples and live bait, they also have a wide variety of hard to find Japanese (JDM) baits that I have not seen available at any other store.

Better than Bass Pro.

Easily the greatest fishing store around. Dare I say it... better than Bass Pro Shops. While it may look unassuming from the outside, it probably has more and better options than BPS. Owner is also a super nice and extremely knowledgeable guy. Not at all pushy-- helped me through a lot of questions as I am getting into a new kind of fishing and set me up real nicely. Definitely coming back often.

Its the best fishing store I've ever been to! It has a huge selection and the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about almost anything fishing related. I live too far from this wonderful place but when I do stop by its breathless for me because fishing is my life. I do recommend this place if you're a local resident or just a stranger passing by.
