The best Tutors!!! Both of my daughters were falling a bit behind and decided for a Tutor. Best choice we have ever made! Our family has worked with a couple tutors and they all have been great but currently our Tutor Karen is absolutely AMAZING my girls love her!! And their progress in such a short time has been incredible. I absolutely 100% recommend Tutor Doctor.

We’ve been looking for a tutor for our granddaughter, who lives with us full-time for a few mnths. I sought out pricing /details and information for a couple of months and never pulled the trigger on any. I just didn’t click with any of them.

I had a phone meeting/introduction with Miss Kim, owner of Tutor Doctors on a Saturday morning she took the time to really listen to our story and our situation regarding our granddaughter, to comprehend her needs and her situation to the fullest. We were on the phone for about two hours, which I have never had any potential company ever take that amount of time to really ask questions, and probe to completely and utterly understand our situation, which is a little different than most families.. I truly appreciated that extra effort and her understanding, her care, and her concern, and her empathy, which I could tell were not staged and completely sincere as we had not even agreed to sign on, nor signed a contract yet.

I felt as though I really clicked with Kim . She understood our family dynamic and exactly what we were going through with our granddaughter, whom we had recently decided to hold back and have repeat third grade another year, per her struggles with reading and spelling.

We have been in the tutoring program now for almost 2 mnths and our kiddo has already made HUGE strides and improvements!

I am shocked at how much she has learned and improved in such a short amount of time it’s actually very impressive!
She and her tutor work very hard together and it shows!

I was apprehensive about the online sign-up because she’s pretty fidgety and has a hard time focusing but the way the platform is set up is perfect for a kiddo it’s very “fun/learn” based and there’s a lot of game activity that keeps her focused and engaged yet still learning and practicing!

Our tutor, Miss Gracie is amazing. Nylah really took to her, she is sweet and fun and a lot like Nylah’s teacher. Their personalities are very similar and Nylah adores her, as she does her teacher.

She’s very communicative and if there is any type of a last-minute need for change, she’s very open and flexible which we absolutely appreciate. She takes the time to ask Nylah about her day and how school /life is going before they even get started so it’s not like login and get right to it. She truly cares you can just tell.. They play lots of games during the sessions but they are still learning and engaged and focused.! Nylah doesn’t dread tutoring she actually looks forward to it!

I can’t express my gratitude enough for the kindness, patience, and professionalism this company has to offer !

I really feel like they truly do care about our child’s needs and ours as her providers as well they check in from time to time to see how things are going and are open and willing for any questions, concerns or changes to the program that best fit Our families needs !! This was all portrayed in my very first phone call with Miss Kim , which is why we chose this company. There are several companies out there and as we all know tutoring can be pricey, but if it’s what your kiddo needs then we have to do what we have to do as parents/caretakers to help them have a successful education experience!

I chose Tutor Doctors because of the first initial engagement I had with the owner. I have a very good feel and read for people and I clicked with her immediately and it has been smooth sailing ever since we have not had one hiccup or issue.!!

I appreciate our tutor so much. She really is so sweet and caring and keeps Nylah focused during the entire hour session twice a week. I highly recommend this company and Miss Gracie she has a way of clicking with the kids. We have already moved up a whole percentile on our growth chart for school, and we are moving in the right direction to proceed to fourth grade next year.!! Yay!

I don’t see us not using Tutor Doctors anytime in the near future!! 10/10!!

I am so grateful for the support I received from Tutor Doctor Gateway during my MAT210 calculus class that I took over the summer. Initially I struggling and dropping the class so when I took it again I needed a Tutor so I ask my mom and she matched with Olivia, my tutor. With her help, I not only did I avoid failing but also achieved a solid C grade, narrowly missing out on a B. I wanted to thank Olivia and Tutor Doctor Gateway again because I definitely wouldn’t have passed the class without them!

My son is in 2nd grade and he is behind in reading, so it was getting to the point where he was embarrassed that other kids were ahead of him so I signed him up for one on one private tutoring through tutor doctor and we are already seeing progress! Mrs Cynthia is truly amazing! My son gets frustrated and shuts down when he doesn’t know something, and she has been so patient and understanding and has talked him through his frustration and opened him up to learning and help in general. Within 4 weeks, my son’s teacher commented that he notices a huge change in his confidence and willing to work. Each session Cynthia focuses on certain letter words that my child struggles with (ai, ch, sh, ck, etc) but she makes it so interactive and fun! And the last session he got zero wrong! I also love how she starts each session getting to know my son and connecting with him on a personal level and she doesn’t start the lesson until she finds something to get him to open up and start talking which is something he’s never had from a teacher in school. Kim has also been amazing to work with, you can tell she really cares and she’s very open with communication and making sure each child is matched with a tutor that meets their needs and learning style, which I appreciate. I highly recommend tutor doctor!

Basis family here! My family could not be more pleased with Tutor Doctor Gateway. My daughter failed two 6th grade comp tests (English and Chemistry). In order to promote to the 7th grade, she needed to retake the comps over the summer break. My daughter was very discouraged being that she struggled all year to learn and retain the material and my husband and I both work full time so we struggled to offer the support she needed. As a desperate and last attempt, we found Tutor Doctor Gateway after doing a simple Google search.
First, the owner is very professional and informative. She assisted us right away in making sure she found tutors that matched with our daughters specific needs and personality. Gary was her Chemistry tutor and after every session, our daughter lit up with so much excitement because she actually understood the material. Gary was patient, kind, and tutored in a way specific to our daughters learning style.
Cheyenn was our English tutor and by the end of the tutoring session, our daughter said she wished Cheyenn was her teacher because of the way she taught and helped her learn. Cheyenn made it fun and interesting and was also very patient.
Our daughter took both comps today and we were informed that she passed both tests and now meets criteria to promote to the next grade!
We will definitely be using Tutor Doctor Gateway again in the future to assist with the educational success of our daughter.

We have been impressed with our experiences with tutor doctor. My daughter has loved her tutor Ms C. She gets so excited for tutoring and there have been days I have forgotten but my daughter reminds me. I love the flexibility of the option to do it online but still getting the hands on one on one time. I definitely recommend tutor doctor.

We love Tutor Doctor, and our tutor Amber! When our son started to struggle with a few math concepts in class, his confidence level really plummeted. Having a tutor has definitely helped him to view math problems in different effective ways, and he even comes home so proud from school when he uses what he has learned!
