Never shopping here again. I placed an online order that said available for pickup at this location. Then later that morning I get an email saying that my order got changed to drop shipping instead. So when I called about my order, the guy spoke to was a real perk and wouldn't acknowledge the fact that my order got changed because they were actually out of stock and false advertised my order and threw a pissy fit when I told him he's wrong because he knew I was right. Ultimately prompting me to cancel my order. So word of advice, don't shop here. These people seriously don't treat their online customers well. They wouldn't acknowledge that they changed my shipping even though I have all the evidence.

Called AS west Chicago to place pickup order for some sheet aluminum. Told by a very hurried uncourteous person they do not handle aluminum. Must be shipped from Calif or George. Makes no sense.

If ur in need of high-quality bolts with longer shank, shafts or grips as its called in the aviation world, then this is the place. The customer service is excellent and the store is spotless.

I’ve been buying parts and consumables from Spruce for several years and having a warehouse within driving distance is an incredible resource to have. Everyone I’ve met in the West Chicago location have always been incredible people to do business with and have provided top notch customer service.

Once again Aircraft Spruce customer service after contacting them a fourth (and final) time has permanently alienated a long time, loyal customer. Their policy runaround read to me by yet another seemingly prerecorded agent solidified my decision to never purchase or recommend their products again.
Sad, they’ve become a big corporation with no heart, soul or appreciation for what and who got them there in the first place. RR

They don’t jerk you around and quite often know more the you think you do. It’s refreshing when the staff know what they’re talking about. It’s like an old hardware store.

The West Chicago location now offers weekend hours! They are open on Saturdays from 8am-4pm which is great! Stop by soon for all of your airplane/pilot needs! The customer service is GREAT and the manager Vince is AWESOME!
