I have been certified through CBDCE for 30 years (since 1992). This credential has been extremely valuable in my practice in acute care and outpatient settings as well as opening doors for many other fascinating opportunities. This organization provides many options for professional development in the rapidly evolving world of diabetes therapies and technologies as well as patient support resources. Working with patients with diabetes since the early 1980's, I find this credential to be more important in my work than ever and am very proud to be both a CDCES and BC-ADM. My patients especially appreciate a trustworthy source of education, support and information in the confusing climate of conflicting and often misleading messages from a variety of sources.
