"I am extremely disappointed with the lack of care and professionalism at this ballet studio. My 5-year-old daughter was left out and ignored for an entire class because she didn’t immediately follow the directions, which is completely unacceptable, especially for a child just starting out. Rather than help her feel included or guide her, the teacher dismissed her as if she were a burden, leaving her sitting on the floor, crying. This level of insensitivity and lack of support is appalling, especially for young children. I felt the treatment was unfair and possibly even discriminatory. I do not recommend this place for young children."

IDC is an amazing dance studio. Our girls have dance there for more than ten years. What we love best is not simply that children are taught traditional ballet technique, but they develop a love for the arts. Wonderful instructors, wonderful dancers and wonderful families.

IDC offers incredible training for little-ones to pre-professional students. Teachers take great care to create a safe and fun experience for all dancers to learn. All dancers are inspired and challenged as they are offered a wide range of growth opportunities. Our daughters and son have benefited greatly from this studio and we can't imagine dancing anywhere else!

My daughter has been dancing with IDC for the last four years, starting when she was just three years old. What I love most is that IDC is teaching her proper, professional ballet technique. She has learned so much, loves her instructor and has made many friends that share her love of ballet!

IDC has given my daughter the opportunity to accelerate and define her ballet in ballet. It is her passion and love and the instruction is beyond excellent. Illinois Dance Conservatory (IDC) is a rare find in the Chicagoland suburbs, with its high caliber of instruction and dance technique, strong history and its reputation of developing exceptional dance talent! Many of IDC's students have been recognized nationally in several Ballet Competitions and continue to dance professionally in both Ballet & Contemporary.
Classes from the earliest ages through Senior Company levels, provide high level technique and instruction in a friendly, structured environment with experienced, professional instructors in all areas of dance.
In addition to technique classes, students are able to display their progress and talent in a professional production setting onstage twice each year.
