This park could EASILY be a five start resort with its huge amount of river front lots. Unfortunately it's like the owners bought it and stopped maintaining it. Sites are not kept up...I cleaned up our site when we arrived....palm tree debris everywhere. Site hook ups areas not maintained. The camp seems to be run by the snowbirds, who are an awesome bunch. Not sure what happens when they all leave No wifi unless you sit near the club house. The river is beautiful and the views are incredible. Gets a bit noisy on the river on the weekend with the locals and their water craft but fun to watch. A HUGE shout to the camp host Margaret. She looked after us for the week we were there. And the ladies at the office were fantastic also. The owners best assets!!

I’d like to give this place 3.5 Stars and that’s because of the kind people. Please be aware that YOU CAN NOT take your RV or trailer over the Dam Bridge the Parker, AZ way (or at all). You have to arrive to this place on the california side.

Checking in we couldn’t locate the sewer cap and no one was there to help. It wasn’t till next morning my husband had to dig it from underground about 2.5 ft. It was covered with rocks and dirt. No cap. The water constantly was shut off during our time as well which did inconvenience us a few times. We ended up filling our tank after the second time it happened. And people do let off fireworks here when they’re not supposed to. No Verizon service at all & their wifi is horrible. Lots of Donkeys visit the camp behind a fence at this park. They are cute. They have a lot of little events and things to do and a decent little golf course. Beautiful river views too. Lots of Jeep trails and off road trails around. Lots to explore and see in this area. We’d stay here again. Prices are decent. People are awesome. Park has just had better days.

My husband and I stayed at the River Lodge Resort for the weekend in our 30' A Class. There were full hook ups and the price was very reasonable. The scenery is beautiful and the park is located right on the river. Sunrise and sunsets here are amazing! Located in a canyon so the wind wasn't an issue. The river water is always flowing making it a great spot to post up on the grass and relax or have a picnic and people/boat watch.||||There is a fun 9 hole golf course located on the property. Behind the entrance road, there are sand dunes and great trails to explore on your dirt toys. If you want to be brave, bring some carrots and feed/pet the donkeys. Just don't leave your food out when you go to sleep!||||Everyone was extremely nice in the park (Including the staff!!!) Kyle told us all the good places to visit for night life and where to do our shopping in the city. ||||Can't wait to go back. Very relaxing and great weather during Feb.

The attraction to this resort are the amazing views of the Colorado River with the mountains as a backdrop! The resort itself is deteriorating and no longer being restored to the fine amenities which were once boasted about. You can forget about the golf course now as it is better suited for Frisbee golf! Wi-Fi is not functioning, there is sewer gas smells daily from certain campsite areas, swimming beach area has broken concrete slabs tossed ashore, horseshoe area has seen better days, I can go on…but you get what you pay for and the 1-mo. rent is very reasonable.

If I could give it a lower star than 1, I would (-3). The owner and staff do not care about The park. They do not pick up after the donkey's. I love the donkeys, but do not love having the flies or wade through poop. You literally have to wade through donkey poop to get to the river, to get your car, ect. They do not go around the park and pick up trash. The showers, the toilets, the laundry rooms are not just dirty they are filthy!! It is a big dust bowl....... No gravel put down anywhere....NO PRIDE IN THE PARK AT ALL!!!!
There are many RV resorts up-and-down the Colorado river ( CA & AZ SIDE ) That are approximately the same in price if not cheaper to stay at. PLEASE Research before staying at the river Lodge Resort
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE ONES THAT ARE THE BEST SOMETIMES HAVE A WAITING LIST FOR HOLIDAYS. Make your reservations in advance

Enjoyed our week on the NorthBeach of the resort, however, it could have been better. Kathy at the front desk, was extremely friendly and accommodating. Had a little issue with our spots, but she quickly fixed the problem. I suppose that I am "spoiled" with staying in RV resorts that are a little nicer. ||||Few issues: No Wifi, all sites are in the dirt, no cable, showers and restrooms desperately in need TLC, no picnic tables, and then there are the burros'! The donkey's can be aggressive, and using our outdoor carpet as a restroom is not cool. Definitely not kid-friendly, no playground or any activities. ||||Things that are great! Free pancake breakfast, free golf, and the Colorado River!! Town of Parker is about a 30 min drive and has some good restaurants, and Walmart
