I was a foster parent through this DCFS office and will never foster again, not because of the children or parents, but because of this agency. I was never given the help I needed and every bit of progress was like pulling teeth. It took 2 months to get sibling visits situated, and even then, they were only every 2 weeks instead of every week as they should be. They were only able to coordinate after I relented and said I would transport the children myself. I was told I would be reimbursed for the mileage, but 2 years later, I am owed over $3000.00 in mileage and have never seen a dime despite CONTINUAL urging and communication with them. This is STILL ongoing.

The children in my care were never arranged counseling/therapy that was continually asked for. There were so many other things... it was honestly a nightmare and the children are unfortunately who pay the price because they are not considered first. They're just numbers in the system. I hate that I cannot help more children who need it, but I simply cannot and will not put myself through that mental anguish ever again.

Way do they pick on the family with a child that has a medical problem and a mental problem still blame it on the parents stop picking on my family this is the second time give me my daughter back she is my whole world she has a g button for a reason and Chad from DCFS is a liar and he will harass you
