Amazing! Took my high school junior for a visit, the program is awesome. The work space and classrooms we're very high tech and clean. Everyone made us feel so welcome. Keeping my fingers crossed that he decides to be a Saluki. 🤞

This program gave me more than I could've ever hoped for. As a 18 year old, I had no idea of what I was getting into, just a kid who loved cars, and wanted to do something with them. This program is one of the only programs that continues to grow at SIUC, even through the hardships they've faced these past years, the program doesn't seem to lose students, or interest. There are so many opportunities that students who go here are given that it's unbelievable. I managed to get a job with a major corporate company before even graduating. I would highly recommend anyone who has a strong work ethic, and works hard to go here. The teaching staff was wonderful, and helped with every step of the road. I can't say enough good things about the program!

Top notch program, with top of the line professors. Great career opportunities, and the entire faculty and staff are always looking out for the best interest of each individual student. The program is known globally as one of the top baccalaureate automotive programs and you will definitely understand why when you visit the Transportation Education Center (TEC) and meet those involved.
