We are comparing preschools for our son to attend in the fall after he turns 2. We were truly blown away by the beauty and warmth of Celebree. The building and materials are brand new, gorgeous quality Montessori toys and materials, without the rigid Montessori curriculum.

The owner & all of the teachers gave us a tour of the whole facility. Health & safety are huge priorities for them which made me very comfortable. They take their low student:teacher ratio very seriously. We love the location right in downtown Northbrook behind the Bank of America building. Very close to our house!

We spent about an hour with Charlotte, who would be our son’s teacher. And she is *exactly* the type of warm personality and gifted early childhood expert that I want raising my son while I am not present. She explained why child-led play-based creative education is so important for this age (which is also how I feel).

We even got to meet the teachers of the older classrooms as well as the infant teachers (for if we have more kids in the future). Turns out the director Nicole has successfully opened many bright horizon schools & really knows her stuff when it comes to running a high end daycare.

The owner Maggie is the real reason we chose to visit. She comes from a premier north shore preschool, and has a reputation for being one of the best teachers around. I’m so happy she is opening her own school so the Northbrook community will have access to her magic. A special bonus for us that she is bilingual! (Maybe even trilingual?). Our son is learning Polish as a second language and it’s fun that he will be able to practice with Maggie sometimes.

My husband was a bit nervous at first about considering a brand new daycare, but after meeting the staff, and hearing from their former students/parents/colleagues, we feel like we hit the jackpot that we have an opportunity to be one of the first families to enroll. The kids are getting so much undivided attention for the price of a regular daycare!

Thank you to all the staff who made us feel welcome during our visit. Our son did not want to leave!

Anyone considering joining Celebree… RUN, don’t walk, before they fill up to capacity.
