**This honestly only has 1 star, because I was forced to give at least one or I couldn't submit my review.**

I’m absolutely not telling you how to manage your team, employees, bar or self, but you might want to at least make sure all of you are on the same page if you’re going to treat some clients and customers differently than others. At least everyone will have the same answers that way.

It’s funny, when the hall was called, I was advised that typically, *UNLESS SOMEONE SAYS THEY WILL BE OUT EARLY ENOUGH TO BOOK ANOTHER EVENT, AFTERWARDS—THERE ARE NOT 2 EVENTS BOOKED IN ONE DAY* which tells me that it is literally *ONLY* us that you are putting these limitations on.

We have vendors who have travelled HOURS to be a part of these events at YOUR FACILITY. We have done nothing but try and bring business in the last few years. We have wanted to see the business and association succeed so the hall doesn’t end up boarded up. Gone out of our way to help the hall and association when no board member was willing to pitch in or clean, we wanted to help Quinten. We ended up MORE than taken advantage of, and then screwed out of full events we were paying full price for. Are you kidding me? He would be so embarrassed at the happenings of late. If he was still here this absolutely would not be happening. It’s so sad that this is how things have ended up.

[we hosted craft fairs here for the last 4 years] it’s honestly sad that many years worth of monthly events, and years of recommending the facility has ended this way. It's absolutely insane how quickly a place can go down hill with a change in management. People can say whatever they want about previous owners/management, but we never had ANY issue working with them. Never ONCE had issues with double booking or not being able to use the facility for the time booked, except ONE TIME when the pipes froze and burst and the facility was legit flooded. That was the ONLY time in the last 4+ years of doing events we had ANY issue under previous management; new management is a JOKE. Agreements were made and not adhered to, days of events double booked and not notified until 2 days before the event we wouldn't be able to have a full event, even though we were paying full price. Parties interested in booking the facility, beware. You'll be told you can go set up, and there might even still be an event happening. Best of luck if you decide to work with them.

Met some friends for fish and beer on a Saturday afternoon. Pretty good food and drinks weren’t too high. The place could use a little cleaning….

I have been a customer here for many years. The fish stand is a great addition to the Improvement Center and I'm sure adds sales. The banquet room is spacious and has a raised stage area for a band or DJ. There are numerous tables, both rectangular and round with chairs. It's a wonderful place to utilize for showers, weddings, benefits, or large family gatherings. The management was extremely accommodating for our benefit fundraiser and lenient re:decorating for our event. Of course, we cleaned our mess up at end of the night. They also provide a bartender for nominal fee. We are very happy to have held our event at Swansea Improvement hall and bar. It isn't a high dollar, fancy place but it is clean, we had plenty of tables and chairs for the number of attendees (approx. 250 came and went throughout the day/evening) and we received excellent service for our event. I highly recommend this place for your party or event gathering.

Was there for a craft fair, but this place gets hopping on a Friday night during lent because they have a Fish stand right next door, where you can go get your fish and then enjoy it at Swansea Improvement Association with some cold beer or adult beverages. The facility is clean and well kept, they also sell fish on Saturdays as well in case you weren't able to there on Friday.
