I originally signed a 50 hour contract with C2 Education in 2017, where I was told that my hours would not expire. My child took C2 lessons from 2017 to 2019, taking a break from 2020 to 2022. In late 2022, I signed a new contract to use my remaining 30 hours. Now, in 2024, I was recently informed that my hours would expire in a few weeks. I was never informed that under the new policy, my hours would have an expiration date. I have lost over $1000 dollars as a result.

I had a very bad experience with David I. The Center director of the Glenview location.
He was not being honest with me when he just wanted us to sign up. After 3 lessons, we realized that their tutoring service provide no extra value for little child below high school grades, even though they are charging more than double than the other tutoring services around. I wanted to withdrawal my child. However, David refused to do the full refund as he previously promised, even though we met all the requirements as stated in his early email in order to get the full refund. He offered to give us a partial refund with a deduction of $2000, for the 3 lessons my child took at this center. It was not acceptable.
Luckily, my bank helped me after reviewing all the emails and document provided.
What I would suggest is be very careful when you go sign up. Ask for the refund policy clearly printed on paper and keep it if you are not 100% sure yet.
It's sad that I went through this nightmare. It's supposed to be a facility focusing on helping parents who want to find academic help for their child, not taking advantage of them.

David and his team at C2 are the best! My daughter, Alina, received tutoring for her AP classes as well as test prep . . . David also took the time to get to know Alina and provide guidance to her for the college application process. Joining C2 was the best choice!!

Please be careful going for your child's future. I usually do not wirte reviews but I was scammed for more $10K with nothing in return. I paid out of fear and giving my hard earned money see my child succeeding but they are nothing less than scammer. They are highly instable. David or John, it does not make difference. I don't think we should allow them to ruin our children future. Please go somewhere else if you really care and want to see your child to grow.

I have been with C2 for a few years now, and my experience here has been amazing. The tutors and staff are always happy to help and answer any question you have, whether it be about a standardized test or applying for college. I have tried other tutoring places before, but none have shown the results that C2 has. My test scores and grades are constantly improving with their help, and they are now my go to place for academic help.

C2 charges a large amount of money up front. We have been there for 3 years. Depends on which tutor you have...most are not very good and you are overpaying for sharing 1 tutor with 2 other students who are at different levels of education. They have a new director who has been there for 1 month and is even worse now. For example. My 2 daughters shared their class with a new potential client. The tutor spent the majority of her time with the client. My daughter waited for help and then because the class was over- she didn’t even get the help. Excuse me- I also paid for the class and my kids should also have equal time. The new director didn’t even offer to credit me for the class- that would have been better customer service. Why should sometime who they are are tying to get to purchase hours monopolize the session?!?

Undoubtedly the best choice for SAT/ACT test prep! Highly qualified instructors and they spend a lot of time, energy and effort on students. I had a fabulous experience learning how to thoroughly understand the various concepts in achieving great scores in the SAT. Highly recommend for SAT, Subject SAT and AP exams!!!
