Everyone at the Huntington Elmhurst location is so friendly and welcoming. Their program is well coordinated and organized, which gives me peace of mind since this new journey could be a long road ahead together. I also appreciate that their initial assessment was incredibly thorough and that they have regular check point assessments and meetings with the parents so we can continue to monitor and see actual progress and growth. We are very grateful to the Huntington Elmhurst team!

Huntington Learning Center Elmhurst has worked miracles! Our kiddo started below last year's grade level and is now testing well into next year's grade level! He has received individualized attention that not only has improved his ability to read, but also his motivation. He actually likes going! I whole-heartedly recommend this center. Worth the money!

There is nothing more empowering as a parent than to see the confidence in your child turn up 100 percent. Diane and ALL the staff are doing their jobs tremendously well. Our son has been attending the Elmhurst Huntington Learning location for reading tutoring and has gone from a first grade reading level to his current third grade reading level in a few weeks. Not only does he speak positively about his time at Huntington to eveyone but he walks out smiling and is excited to tell us what he has accomplished. Also, to have his teacher reach out to us and express her happiness and acknowledge his increased personal accomplishments and participation in class confirms our son and the Huntington staff are succeeding.

There is no state driven agenda for students here. The staff works together to help each student and focus on there needs individually, which is something our school systems are not always able to provide. Our son receives one on one interaction with his tutor and reads from books, not a computer program. They take the time to make sure the skills they are teaching him are mastered before moving on to insure success and understanding. And there are meeting with the Directors every few weeks to review progress. Overall we are very happy with our decision to sign up.

Huntington is a wonderful place that makes reading and math fun for kids with special needs. My son started over 7 years ago and was reading at less than a first grade level. We tried tutors and never had success. I signed him up for Huntington and he made great gains. He liked going there 2x a week and soon made great progress. He's reading at above a fifth grade level now. We are so happy for Diane and all of her amazing teachers. They will help our son live independently.

My child was struggling with reading (beyond Covid behind struggling). She was grades behind where she should be. We were working with extra obstacles (ODD, ADHD & Dyslexia). At home tutoring was too distracting of an environment for her, she wasn’t gaining much from the sessions.
Huntington was recommended to me by a colleague whose child went to Huntington after moving from the city and realizing how behind that child was in reading. They saw a massive improvement.
I met with Ms. Diane to discuss the options and how the program works. Her passion for this program gave me the confidence to commit to a 100 hour program and reassess from there. We just hit our 100 hour mark, and my daughter is reading at the grade level she should be. I was blown away. We still have progress to make but this improvement has been amazing to witness. Her confidence has soared and the genuine care and excitement from the staff on my daughters accomplishments have been heart warming. The staff and teachers are amazing and work with each individual child and their needs. They make it feel like home when we arrive.

We got everything we wanted from our experience at Huntington and more! The people are second to none from the tutors, to Clare who was often helping me with scheduling and especially Diane. What a difference it makes that HLCs are all independently owned and operated. No one cares more than Diane about the kids and families and it shows in spades! My son came here bc we had received under par standardized test scores from school. HLC put together a personalized plan for us and my son went from the 20th percentile to the 60th. We trust the people here with our son’s growth plan bc it works! I wasn’t happy about having to supplement learning outside of school. But this has been so worth the investment. Thanks Diane and staff! We truly appreciate you!

All the Huntington tutors and staff are very professional. They're really invested in helping all the kids who come through their doors. Aside from all that, they're just a pleasant group to chat with! I highly recommend the Huntington Learning Center Elmhurst.

We had a wonderful experience with Huntington. My daughter used Huntington Elmhurst for ACT/SAT prep. Her score drastically improved after the tutoring sessions. Diane and her team at Huntington went over and beyond what we expected when my daughter came back for more tutoring sessions after COVID quarantine. She wanted a refresher right before taking her ACT for the last time and Diane and tutors worked with her on exactly the skills she needed. Her last test was the best score yet and we are thrilled. Highly recommend!
