Spirits of Yesteryear October 26th, 2024, was a Halloween event to die for. I truly hope this becomes a yearly event again It was a great evening to listen to some scary stories and to explore a truly haunted house. Everyone was very nice. The craft show they're having today has many great items

Our guide was very knowledgeable, humorous and pleasant. We had our 8-month-old with us and he was very accommodating talking to him as he babbled and including him in the tour as well. Love going to the craft fair for the holidays. I always find something wonderful.

This is one of the most comprehensive and amazing museums I've ever seen. Kitchenware, toys, Rawleigh Co. products, manufacturing memorabelia, etc., etc. One of the Directors, Ida De Boer, showed us around and had fascinating information to add.

Was visiting relatives in Winnebago and visited this museum one afternoon when we were trying to fill time. Glad we did. This is a hidden gem. The house is wonderful but the industrial/farming museum section was the most fascinating for me. They also have a one room school house and a 1830s log cabin. All very well documented and the tour guide was very good. Definitely recommend this site if you are nearby.

Who says history is boring? I love this place. The old Taylor house is beautiful and, despite all the educational placards, feels just as mysterious to me now as when I was a kid. The kind of thing that brings me back time and again. Also enjoy meandering through the stately trees of the arboretum, visiting the gazebo and the sun clock/herb garden.

Local and regional history museum. Oscar Taylor home, industrial Toy Museum, millerburg school house, irish homestead log cabin, and arboretum.
