The director of this daycare is very abrasive, dismissive and pretentious. The Children's Place located in Lynwood closes at 6:00 pm. However, I arrived at 5:42 pm to pick up my eldest son and ended up having a conversation with Ms. Lovie, the director, in regards to my other child who attends an affiliated daycare. After informing me of the fact that my younger son could not return the next day because he was ill, I asked her to provide a notice to give to my employer verifying the reason for my sudden absence the next day. She refused because at the time of my request, it was 6:02 pm. It was clearly a reaction of spitefulness because she was frustrated with our conversation, and she needed to show she had some sense of authority. It only spoke volumes to her character. Her attitude is pompous and the tone and manner in which she speaks comes across as belittling and condescending as if you, another adult, cannot disagree or challenge her opinions and thoughts with those of your own. I do hope that another suitable option comes in the near future, so I can put my son in better care. I honestly wish he never had to transfer from the affiliated location. It's much better and so is the staff.

My son attended this daycare for 8 months and I have to say some staff members are good and some don't care to much. My son has 3 incident reports form there. 2 times he was bitten another time his face and neck scratched up and no one knew how. I do understand children do things to each other so I kept him there. but this last time was it! I have a full video of my son and another toddler scuffling over a toy with a daycare teacher in arms reach of them, literally sitting right there. She watched them and did nothing until the other toddler bit my son then she got up. For one I don't even like the way she snatched the other toddler up, then she proceeded to take her time to attend to my son hurting and crying from being bitten. The owner tried to make to many excuses for her actions. I really do recommend that proper training be giving, or at least care enough to attend to the children with love. The owner stated that the provider was new and didn't know the toddler was a "biter" if that's even a word. I figure well why wasn't she trained on that?. I could go on and on. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE DON'T DO IT. And they transport food from one daycare to another in a van which is against the law because that van isn't approved as sanitized by the state. I currently have a case with DCFS and I will be showing them the video and pictures of my son scars.

The administration is horrible. Nasty attitudes, showed no compassion. They don’t report children’s injuries. The teaching staff was very professional and supportive, but the director/owners are very nasty
