My son struggled with reading and writing in school. As a parent we felt defeated and guilty about our child’s shortcomings with education. We started Sylvan in September and have worked nonstop with the staff and Ms. Jamie. Fast forward to December, my son was due for a reevaluation on his IEP and has scored out of the system! I was told he no longer needs that extra help at school being that he scored pretty high on each section. This is such a huge blessing to our family!

We absolutely love Ms. Jamie and the staff that has been ever so patient with our son! A job well done. If I could leave more stars I would!

Sylvan at University Area has been amazing for my daughter!!! Our goal was to get her to a 3rd grade reading level by the end of summer, and by the start of her 3rd grade school year. She took the BOG and scored a Level 3 making her proficient for the 3rd grade!! Her tutoring sessions have, and are still paying off! I can only imagine what her EOG score will be. I would highly recommend Sylvan!

Having our boys attend Sylvan Learning Center in Univerity has been the best decision we have made. Our boys feels more motivated and confident due to their caring tutors. Thank you to all here at Sylvan! Hands down the best place in Charlotte! My 9 year old daughter has been struggling for years in Reading. We started earlier this year and with in a few weeks we started to see results! We are now on month 4 and couldn't be more excited on how much she has progressed. She started with not even wanting to attempt to read and now asks to go to the library! We can't think the staff here enough! My daughter looks forward to coming every day!
