My child has been attending Sylvan in Cary for eight months. He initially struggled with reading, but after joining, his improvement has been remarkable. He now performs well on his NC Check-Ins and has gained confidence in his reading skills. He even looks forward to his sessions, which is amazing to see. The director, Michelle, Yulnique, and the instructors are incredibly supportive, patient, and dedicated. Their personalized approach and encouragement have made a huge difference in his learning journey. We are so grateful for their efforts.

My daughter was struggling in first grade with reading and math. She’s been at Sylvan Learning for only a month and her confidence has gone up. She’s wants to read now and actually enjoys it. When she does her math homework she tells me she doesn’t need my help. She loves going to tutoring and really enjoys learning.

I've been coming here for almost 9 months and it's been such a great experience!! I started for AP Calculus, and my tutors (Zoe and Kyle) helped me understand the content so much better. The director, Kyriakos, is so welcoming and always looking for ways to help me increase my grades and learning capabilities. With Sylvan I've increased both my SAT and ACT scores, and have been provided additional support that I needed throughout my junior year. They're great!!

We are extremely happy that we enrolled our child in Sylvan. After the Pandemic when our child returned to start middle school after missing the majority of 5th grade we were told that he was a bit behind. We met with Ms. Johnson and she reassured us that they would get him back to grade level and beyond. She was exactly right, and she has been very flexible with us and our schedule. She and Sylvan have been a valuable part of our child’s success. We are grateful to her for that!

Sylvan has been great for getting my student to get to grade level in math and continue to work at getting her at grade level in reading. The tutors are very friendly and supportive of her learning needs. I like that her learning plan gets adjusted with her progress—either moving forward and reviewing the same material if not mastered. I would highly recommend them.

I took the SAT course and it proved very useful in improving my score. The overall practice and skills I got from the course raised my SAT score from a 1290 to a super scored 1420.

as a student there myself, i'm kinda iffy abt it since some (i aint gonna call names here) of the tutors are a little too strict for my taste, like one of them said "u just don't want to do the work if u keep on saying 'i don't know'." when i just asked a question on the multiplication work, so these days i dread it, but otherwise its nice.

I have been coming to Sylvan Cary for the past 2 months, and it has been an amazing experience. Not only are the instructors kind and understanding, but my SAT score has gone up by a large amount since starting here. Kyriakos is also extremely compassionate and is always willing to help with my inquiries and questions. I definitely recommend all to try the school out.
