Sara Furlich is a gem of a human being, and Lakemere has been a lifesaver for our family. Sara is a wealth of knowledge and has helped us with homeschool challenges, academic tutoring, curriculum selection, student motivation, advocacy and navigation throughout testing and 504/ARD meetings, understanding autism and ADHD, and just generally being our go-to resource and consultant for all things education. Not only that, she has such wisdom and discernment, and is a compassionate, wise counselor to her students and their families. She is able to empathize with her students like no one else I know, and I've been in education for over three decades. I can't sing her praises loudly enough and wish everyone could know her. I trust her, value her opinion, and don't know what we'd do without her!

Lakemere Learning, was a game changer for our dyslexic daughter. She’s now reading on grade level. She also loved the tutoring center with the dog a bunnies. We were so happy we enrolled our dyslexic twin boys for tutoring therapy as well. We cannot recommend this tutoring center enough.

We love Sara and Lakemere! They have come to our rescue so many times. Whether it be school advocacy or tutoring, Lakemere has been invaluable. Traversing public schools with kids with learning differences is not easy. Having Lakemere as a resource has been a lifesaver for our family! I cannot say enough great things!!!

As a parent of a child with dyslexia my daughter and I have been very impressed with Lakemere learning. We had to withdraw our daughter from public school during the pandemic. We were thrilled to fill in the a academic gaps by continuing her Wilson reading instruction with Ms. Stacey. She’s making great progress and is probably ahead of her public school dyslexic peers. Also, Sara Furlich has been a big support in guiding me on how to homeschool my daughter. I was initially very overwhelmed with the thought of taking on such a big responsibility. She sat down with me to help develop a plan and we checked out some homeschool resources from Lakemere and bought a few from a homeschooling store. I am so thankful for all of the support that has helped us feel successful during this unexpected chapter in our lives.

For potential new clients and customer:
I hope you have patience. I’ve been trying to contact someone at Lakemere for over two weeks to discuss their services, cost, and general information with little to no response, only vague text message promising to call back. I think when working with children, communication is key. Unacceptable.
