I took swim lessons for three months at the Skokie location. My experience was extremely positive! The wonderful staff helped me get over my fear of water. I now enjoy swimming immensely. The facility is very clean with friendly atmosphere. 🙏

Great for adult lessons. Scheduling is easy, pool is the perfect length to learn and great depth for treading. Instructors are extremely supportive and help you progress in each class. I had a great experience learning to swim with Coach Meghan who was patient and encouraging.

We love how personable and kind all the staff is at British. For my 3yo just starting out, I’ve seen tremendous growth in her comfort level in the water. I owe that to the coaches who’ve worked with her, especially Kelly and Meghan. You guys rock!

We love this swim school. We had spent time at other bigger swim schools in the city, which seemed to be more focused on just letting the kids splash around for 30 minutes. BSS is much more focused on providing kids of any age with skills for water safety, and they still have a great time. The classes are small and the teachers know our kids and what they need to feel comfortable and learn.

We love the British Swim School! The instructors are amazing and so patient with the little ones! The Skokie location is great and they have two showers for after swim. The parking can be a tiny bit difficult some days, but totally worth the occasional slight inconvenience.

We have been coming here with my 4 year old and I love the personal and family feel of the place! They are so excited to see my daughter and her progress everyone is so nice ! My daughter loves coming here. Definitely recommend it! I come from far just to be here I have tried a few different schools and I love this one. We are here to stay ! Our favorite teacher is Cory! I absolutely love seeing her smiling face ! My daughter just loves her too

I am amazed at the progress my kids have made since joining! After years of attempting to teach the same skills at home, British swim school moved them beyond what I had hoped in just a few months. I especially enjoy the small class format, and how the desired skills are clearly laid out at each level. Teachers are fun, kind and patient as well.
