Joining KMA academy has been a life saver for my family in many ways, hence for the best decision ever taken !!. Our instructor and senior ranks are incredible amazing, supportive and professional. We have been able to see how many other students have improved so much and that really motivates us to keep on trying in order to achieve that same goal. I can’t wait to see my kids and I reaching our fullest potential in the KMA sleepy hollow academy . Thank you mister Graziano, Miss Iverson, Grant and Alexis. You all are very inspirational and great role model to be follow .

After reading all the negative reviews about KMA sleepy hollow I have to HIGHLY disagree. The entire staff is always great, they don’t sugar coat when a student is not behaving or trying in class which is great for discipline, and they always push your kids to their full potential forcing them to be better as human beings. Thanks to the classes my son has more self discipline, manners, and is treated the same as he would be at home, with knowledge and guidance in what he doesn’t know

My 7 year old daughter is very sensitive, shy, and is afraid of many things throughout the day. We tried helping her with these situations and even started her on therapy once a week to help her get over her fears and create confidence. After 3 months of therapy we decided to try KMA in Sleepy Hollow. WOW, the instructors at KMA are amazing. The structure that they train in their classes not only teaches martial arts but more importantly confidence, courage, respect, and empathy. After just 2 weeks in class my daughter asked to stop therapy and do more martial arts. THANK YOU KMA for the wonderful work you do with students of all ages!

If you have been looking for a martial arts class to not only build Skill, but structure and confidence this is the place! My son literally was this quiet kid in a shell and now he has so much confidence from his classes ! He speaks louder and prouder ! Plus he actually loves learning this new skill here!

Update: after a few months of my son being here the verbal abuse became entirely unbearable. Ron speaks to children in a way I don’t to my own kids I birthed. He screamed so loud at my son at a promotion class in front of people who came to see their family members get promoted. (My son was only there for peer support) Ron Had the entire seated area talking about the way he was yelling at my son. He only came to support other children promoting and ended up being the target and bullied by Ron. A total embarrassment. He also asked my son who was crying “did you release those DEMONS out your head yet” I pulled my son off the mat and told him we would never return. He didn’t apologize nor tried to call me and apologize. That’s no way to speak to a 9 year old who is NEW and trying his best to keep up. how dare you ask a Christian child if they released demons out their head because they are crying and upset that you yelled to the top of your lungs because he was running too slow for you . Ron yelled so loud every adult that was sitting and watching this class JUMPED! That’s how loud he yelled at a 8 year old kid. My son loved coming here and I as his parent had to pull him because I will not tolerate such disrespect from an adult man who is to be training the skill not bullying children.

Update: the fake tears I gave about not being able to get my son there was because he DIDNT WANT TO COME ! You kept calling me none stop to come and texting asking where he was that’s why I lied. To avoid you confronting him at the next class. You can save you long response lol it just proves everything I said you’re a horrible human being and verbally abusive towards kids. You typed all that just to prove what I said your unprofessional and a horrible business owner and trainer thank you. No I won’t remove my original review because in the beginning things were great. I updated it so people can know what to expect the longer they stick around and you begin to get comfortable! COMPLETELY OUT OF LINE! There was no talk of whatever you said my son doesn’t have negative thoughts or feel anyway about himself YOU push that judgement on kids and make them feel like there is something wrong with them to try to mentally break them and make they cry! As the other 1 star review mention. Like I said you walked up to my son held his head and asked him “did you release those demons!” I don’t care how hard you try to convince over reader of how you are right. No parent in their right mind will be ok with what you said to my son. He wasn’t crying because he ran 3 laps he cried because you started SCREAMING at the top of your lungs at him for no reason. Like a maniac! And yes the other adult that were there allllll were confused and concerned asking if that’s how normally behave I have 5 videos of you talking to children there horribly I can add them to this review if you like

My 6 year old son started taking classes at KMA Sleepy Hollow about 6 months ago. We were looking for a program to help him develop his focus, perseverance, and confidence. We have gotten all that and more through his experiences there.

The classes are designed for the appropriate developmental level of children of different ages. My son started in the Basic Skillz class for 5-6 year olds, where he had a parent coach at his side to help support him. He has since moved up into the Basic Kyuki-do class where he learns without a parent coach. He has responded well to that increase in independence and responsibility, and I credit his growth to Mr. Graziano's and the other instructors' understanding of my son's strengths and areas for improvement.

Today my son had the opportunity to help represent KMASH at a community festival. I was proud to see him demonstrate his confidence and skills that he has gained in public. He would not have been able to do this 6 months ago, and I am excited to see how much he continues to grow through his classes at KMA Sleepy Hollow!

My daughter has been going here for a couple of years through various levels of the programs and I would 100% recommend KMA Sleepy Hollow to anyone and everyone! The focus on building her up and teaching her life skills and leadership skills on top of the martial arts training makes this my go to place for her. The instructors are knowledgeable, safety focused, and dedicated to growth and development of all the students regardless of age or training level.
