Amazing place and our kids loved it! Amber and Elijah is ready to start lessons in March 2021! Their momma had lots of fun playing with all the kitties. Annabelle was very knowledgeable and the kids learned A LOT! We will be back!!

We have been taking our daughter for lessons at Breezy Bluffs Riding Academy for a year now. She is 5 years old and has so enjoyed being at the barn and with the wonderful staff. They have been very supportive of her going from very enthusiastic to unsure and back again. They are very attentive and understanding.

I love that the children are taught from the being the maintenance and care for the horse as well. They learn about they equipment they need and are started in the beginning on a path of (well supported) self sufficiency and responsibility.

We would recommend Breezy Bluffs to anyone!

Our family has been riding at Breezy Bluff Riding Academy for five years. When we first looked for horse riding lessons, we chose Breezy Bluff as the prices were MUCH more reasonable than other stables in our area. We have loved the opportunity not just to ride but also to learn to take care of a horse by grooming and saddling the horse. As student progress in their lessons, picking a horse's hoof is also included in the grooming opportunities. The scope of skills taught in lessons grows as a rider progresses and opportunities for jumping and dressage lessons are provided to interested and capable students. Trail rides are a regular lesson component. Students also have the opportunity to display their riding progress in annual horse shows at the Breezy Bluff.

Our family appreciates the friendships we have made with the owners and other students at Breezy Bluff. Through their encouragement, my daughter leased a horse to show in our local county fair where she did quite well. Breezy Bluff has always been quite accommodating when we have needed to adjust our lesson times or days due to schedule conflicts when notified ahead of time.

In addition to being a riding academy, Breezy Bluff is a working farm where student safety comes first. My family has enjoyed the opportunity to interact with other farm animals as well. For recreational horse riding lessons for children and adults, Breezy Bluff Riding Academy is a wonderful establishment.

I have three children ages 16, 14, & 8 who have ridden on and off since my oldest was 6. All of my children have come to me at different times and told me that they have more fun at this barn than at any other we’ve ever gone to. Currently they are on lesson #9 with Breezy Bluff.
As a parent I like that all of my children were able to be together in the same lesson even through they are all at different skill levels. The instructors are talented and experienced enough to handle them where they are at. Other barns have insisted on individual private lessons which is difficult to fit into a schedule. Additionally, it’s a shared love that they can actually bond over doing it together at the same time. I wound not have any reservations recommending Breezy Bluff to a friend.

I recently started riding at Breezy Bluff Riding Academy and have had a positive experience every time.

If you don't want to read my full review, I'll sum it up:
I have nothing negative to say.

Back story:
I own a business and one of my employees is also into horseback riding. I had been wanting us to go on a ride together ever since I became business owner and met her, going on 3 years now. I finally decided to stop talking about my hopes to go together, and actually scheduled a ride for us.
I picked Breezy Bluff because I had been following them on Facebook for a few years now. Their location is nice/not too far away. And even more especially because the riding style is Western pleasure. Anyways, my employee backed out of her ride, and my husband ended up going with me in her place. We were a little late as a little mishap with directions, but I had called and was walked through on the phone and they made it very easy. The staff was nice and worked with my husband and I well. We did lose about 10 minutes because of us being late, but I totally understand and respect that! It's a business after all.
I was instantly hooked after my first ride at Breezy Bluff and dreamt of going back.
I decided to book a 10 pack of lessons as it is the biggest bang for the buck. I just had my 4th lesson (now 5th time being out there counting the first ride with my husband) and I'm so happy to found this stable.

Overall riding experience: The horses and instructors are always great! The horses are very laid back. Now that I'm older and not so limber, and just getting back into the saddle, it's been a great experience for me to build my confidence back with riding. The instructors are great at communicating what one needs to do as a rider, and also praise the good which is very reassuring and helps build confidence. I do have my past experiences, but even I need refreshers. The instructors are gentle with their communications and it's all constructive. I love brushing my lesson horse and putting on the saddle, which is expected as inclusive to being a lesson experience.

Additionally:
I have some decent past riding experience from when I use to ride as a young teen. (15+ years ago) after moving away from where I use to ride so many years ago, and very well settled into my I'm adult life, the one thing I've been wanting to get back into was riding horses. It's so good for my physical and mental health. I soon found out Breezy Bluff is the perfect place! I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to get into lessons, children to elderly. ❤️

To the person who posted anonymously, I really don't know what barn you visited. Every time I have been there, the kids riding in groups are having fun, the instructors do not tattle, and the horses are loved and cared for. I have owned horses my entire life, and I am 54 years old. I still have two horses that my husband and I are training, but are two young to really ride a lot. I chose this stable based upon the positive review of another 50-something year old adult taking lessons. My instructors, Stefanie, Amanda and Cherri have all been professional and wise beyond their years. Grooming and tacking the horse is an important bonding experience. All I can say to Anonymous is thank god you do not own your own horses. I highly recommend Betty, and her riding academy to other people, and I hope to continue to ride there.

I attended horse riding lessons today this was my first time. Annabel and her assistant were very friendly and professional.
I got to brushed the horse I was riding first which I enjoyed and also got to know him.
Breezy Bluff riding academy I recommend if you are looking for a safe and fun time riding horses.

Last weekend Betty and her wonderful staff at Breezy Bluff hosted a surprise birthday party for 2 of my friends, and the experience was delightful! Not only did they give us an educational and enjoyable lesson but they also printed a birthday banner for my friends, and gave a tour of their facilities and animals. Her team is very knowledgeable and fun to be around.

It was a memorable day! 🙂
