Delivery took longer than quoted. Then, when it did finally come, it was the wrong product. Had to make a special trip to deliver the box to FedEx so I could get a refund.

A few days back I called into the customer service consultants. I had a truly wonderful experience. I was immediately transferred to a live and knowledgeable lady named Donna. She introduced herself and immediately asked me productive questions to better help me on my search for materials. I am looking for coding books and materials for my 10 year old son who is very interested in that category. Donna was extremely helpful, her knowledge was incredible, and her sincere effort was greatly appreciated. Not once did she push to close a sale, nor did she press me for background or qualifying information to ensure a sale and follow up. She gave me the history of herself, (She was a science teacher) and the built from hard work history of the family owned company. She demonstrated true pride and happiness with her work and always felt like a consultant and not a pushy sales person. She was articulate and a wealth of knowledge. If she was still teaching science I would want my son to learn from her. I was confident in her recommendations and valued our call greatly. I look forward to future interactions with this consultant and company.

Rainbow Resource does not take any accountability for its mistakes. I made a large order and one of the items did not come as described in the catalog and website. When I contacted customer service I was basically told there was an error in the description and it happens sometimes.As of today the description is still wrong! When I wanted to return the item they were going to charge me shipping for their mistake. I had to make multiple emails and phone calls to fight this. I ended up returning my entire purchase because I don't want to do business with a company that I can't trust to stand behind their products and take responsibility for their mistakes. It took a month to receive my refund after they received the returned products. I had to email and call multiple times. I have been homeschooling for 5 years and have at least 8 more years to be purchasing homeschool products, that amounts to thousands of dollars. I will never purchase from Rainbow Resource again.

I have ordered from Rainbow Resource dozens of times over the last 12 years of homeschooling. I have NEVER had an issue with catalog or website descriptions, customer service, receiving the items in a timely manner or the quality of the items. I order curriculum year round and Christmas gifts in October or November.
Whenever I've needed to speak to customer service, I have been please with the outcome. I am really shocked by these negative reviews as that's not been my experience, ever! Rainbow Resource has been a blessing to our family!

Customer service was awesome at helping me fine tune my order. They made sure I had everything I needed for the courses I had chosen. Ordered twice from this company. The first order I did not have a problem, but when the 2nd order wasn't consistent with the description on the site I contacted them with a very polite email voicing my issue. The response was incredibly dismissive and they refused all the solutions I suggested and basically just told me to send it back... paying for the shipping myself. Will not be doing business with this company again.

FRAUD ALERT! I ordered a desk for my son ahead of a semester of Zoom school. When I ordered the desk they gave me a shipment date. After paying for the desk the company sent me an email stating the desk was on back order with no shipment date listed. Ok I can wait a little. Two weeks go by and I hear nothing. A week before my sons zoom school starts I email the company several times and leave voicemails. I get no response. When I attempt to call I am taken to some hokey number that no one answers and keeps you on perpetual hold. DO NOT BUY ONLINE from this company. At this point I think their reviews and social media ratings are a carefully managed hoax. Don’t lose $100 like I did ( PayPal payment). Customer service for this company is non-existent. It’s going on 2 weeks and not one email has been answered or phone call returned. Go bankrupt Rainbow Resources!

They declined to fill an order I placed (which has never happened before in my life) but charged my credit card anyway, I had to dispute it to get my money back. Total waste of time, there are a lot better places out there.
