What I appreciate most about this business is Sam's professionalism. He's very knowledgeable and uses that knowledge to help you make the most of each session. He demonstrates each exercise & explains the science & reasoning behind it. He's communicative and encourages you to communicate openly with him whether it's schedule related, or if you're struggling with cravings. As a self-proclaimed "former fat kid", Sam truly has a heart to help you reach your fitness goals.

What sets this personal training experience apart is the nutrition counseling Sam offers. He listens and takes into account any dietary restrictions, medical concerns, and considers your favorite foods. With that in mind, he creates a meal plan to coincide with your goals and he's open to help you make changes to your meal plan if necessary.

The gym itself is appropriately sized with equipment for all levels. During your entire session, only you and your trainer are present, which is nice because it's covid-friendly & non-intimidating.

I'm new to the area and I'm so glad I started my fitness journey here.

I've worked out with Sam for over six years now. Along the way, he has helped me gain strength and flexibility and lose weight, all goals I'd had limited success with for years. Sam is firm in his resolve, knowledgeable in his methods, and more supportive than I imagined, especially when I falter in my own determination. It is mainly due to Sam's one-on-one service that my doctor was thrilled when I was able to maintain my weight throughout the quarantine and the pandemic. I highly recommend Sam if you are considering a personal trainer.

Sam is a great fitness trainer and nutritionist! He’s understanding when it comes to scheduling, and his sessions come at affordable prices. He’s personable and fits a training regimen that works best for you and that goes at your own pace while pushing you to give it your all. I never used to set out time to workout but now I look forward to it. Ten out of ten would highly recommend!

Sam is very professional and knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition. He really does want to see you succeed and will do his best to help however he can through a holistic approach. He takes the time to explain the science and why behind certain things, which can help put things into context and perspective. Sam places a lot of emphasis on making sure you understand that fitness and nutrition is a long term lifestyle change that takes work and is not a quick weight loss fix. I have seen results through more than just a drop in numbers on the scale. I have been able to stop taking high blood pressure medication (with the consultation and prior approval of my physician) and stabilize my blood sugar in a normal range as a result of losing weight and continuing to train with Sam.

Sam is great and is very knowledgeable about his profession. As a middle-aged woman with health issues, it is important that I keep myself as physically fit as possible. My goal isn't to lose weight, but rather to get physically stronger, gain more muscle mass, and keep my bones as strong as possible. Sam takes my bone density and other health issues into consideration during all of my workouts, and even takes the time to counsel me on the healthiest ways to eat to power me through my days. He has shown me how combining the correct amount of fats and carbs can change my body composition even though my focus is not to lose weight. I love to work in the yard, and my ability to do that without getting winded and tired in a short period of time has greatly improved. Motivation is what a lot of us struggle with when it comes to exercising, but Sam keeps me motivated. Thanks, Sam!!!

Sam is a very supportive and knowledgeable trainer. He has not only helped with structured weight training and individual goals, but has also provided meal planning and motivational support. He has been very helpful with strength training to help ease daily aches and pains for both my husband and myself. AND he has made this all possible by coming to our home for private sessions so that we could stay with our special needs son. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sam is great. There is zero intimidation there. Sam makes sure you know the correct way to workout and takes his time to show you. He is very encouraging and wants you to succeed. Sam is always available for any questions you may have, is easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. His meals plans are easy to follow and keep you full. His approach is very sustainable and not a fad. You will definitely have success.

I've been going to Peak Performance for several years now. I had wasted so many younger years in unhealthy habits. I've been overweight most of my life. I had hypertension and eventually became an insulin dependent diabetic with kidney issues quickly developing. It didn't take an Einstein to figure out where this road would go. I finally decided to take control of my health which led me to Sam and Peak. You finally reach the point where you just give up or step up to change things. Sam, my trainer, has been a godsend. He does it all..workouts, nutrition advice, and support. He does 1 on 1 private sessions. At my heaviest I was 275lbs and size 24-26. With Sam's guidance, I've lost 135lbs and in a size 10 now. Not only do I feel more energy and strength, but best of all I'm off all blood pressure and diabetic meds. My A1c is 6.5 now. I'm in better shape than when I was 30. Sam, thank you for the encouragement, support and strength when I had none on those weak days. Just a few more lbs to goal, then on to my maintenance plan! There's no age limit to get in shape. I just turned 67, but that didn't stop me. You can be a success too. Get motivated and give Sam a call. You won't regret it.
