I want to start out with how happy I was over a year ago with the positive trend with this facility, 5/5.
āfantastic care has been shown to me and my child, prompt to alert us of any incidents, proactive with lessons, and involved in additional enrichment. in the past, there were reviews that weren't so positive, I can assure you, things have changed dramatically - and for the better. we decided to check this location out in the fall, and were happy with the location, we since saw the onboarding of Ally, and she has been an amazing addition and an incredible leader for the team. thank you for everything!ā
Now, this director was fantastic but itās clear that the corporate leadership didnāt want the better interest of the child, they just want more money; child ratios are regularly shrugged off; and policies changed (sometimes enforced, other times not) and typically without proper notice. The breakfast times for this location are 6:45a-7:30a and if you arrive at 7:30, your child gets the lovely visual of the administration removing the container of breakfast, and seeing the crushed look on your childās face when they say, sorry breakfast is over. Instead of telling a parent and child that breakfast has concluded, perhaps just get them some food, as thatās what the intention was in the first place. I shouldnāt have to call the facility each morning to alert them that we had a tough morning and that we will be 2 minutes late. Especially when you call the facility and the phone is more interested in acquiring more children when they are already short staffed and over ratio.
As I mentioned, after the director who made the positive things happen in Antioch relocated to another facility, a new director came onboard, and her demeanor toward the staff and families was not what you should expect from a childcare professional.
The teachers worked with my child and sometimes had to sneak food so my daughter would eat. When my child and I arrived at 7:32 to find out the food was disposed, I asked to speak with the director, she didnāt offer to get my daughter food until after I was so furious that I took my daughter from the classroom to get her a warm breakfast.
The area director didnāt want to take my call, so I tried the regional director who didnāt take my call. So I called corporate, who alerted the regional director to call me asap. 15 minutes later (and during my workday) I am able to speak with her and she informed me that she would investigate. However just three days later, I arrived at 7:30, and the building director had already had the breakfast pulled, I shouted to the director that Iād like to speak with her, so she starts a shouting match back with me. I tell her she needs to get my child some food, as this is highly unacceptable. My child was crying because she was hungry. And her friend walked in, also hungry, so with my request, got this young man some food too. After I leave the facility, the regional director cannot be reached again, to no surprise. I call the corporate office again, and she remembered me, and apologized for the headaches. She told me she would have the regional director call. But nothing. It was only later she left an email stating that she was traveling, and that she didnāt like that I shouted at her facility director, Iām sorry, but if youāre keeping food from my child, Iām not going to be abundantly nice.
I will not refer any friends or family here, even though the care from my daughterās teachers was outstanding. The administration from local to corporate can only be described as bullies. And the corporation itself isnāt in the business of childrenās development, they are just focused on increasing headcount, to keep the profits higher.

We have been going here for years and the leadership team is not being supported by the parent company premier. They all give different directions and you can see it from top down. You get one statement from the center and you go up the ladder they all have a different explanation with no care for the families that send their little ones to. They want to treat you as a bully when you raise a concern or complaint at the corporate office. I know that the Director is trying to mitigate some of the changes and she is getting the backlash from the parents with no support of their leadership team. The communication to the parents is a work in progress, so read every news letter post that is made by the local team. Premier is only looking at the children as dollar signs and not a human beings. It is sad to say that we pulled out of the center. They hide and just try to pass blame on others to get the attention off them. We met tremendous teachers and staff along the way but for our peace of mind we have decided to go another route with our little one. If you do go their be assured that there are some good teachers there and will look out for your little one ( Sarah, Avery, Caitlin, Amanda, Lilly, Melissa, Aly ectā¦.). Thank you to those that had an impact on our little one, but for those that need assistance. Please look for some guidance amongst your team. If you are looking to find a center be cautious on premier early childhood as the parent company.

We have both an infant and a three year old attending ACP Antioch, and we have been with the ACP family for almost two years now. It truly is a family- the teachers and staff greet my children with a smile as soon as we arrive, and my children love going to school here every day. I love the structure and enrichment programs offered- my daughter especially loves cooking class which gives her an opportunity to work with other wonderful teachers and students from other classes once a week. The teachers provide regularly photos and updates on the daycare app, so we are always aware of what they are doing during the day. We continue to see improvements since new management and administration took over in the last year. We especially love Miss Rosa- she is incredibly responsive to our messages, emails, and phone calls to address questions or concerns that come up. She somehow always knows what is going on in every classroom at any given moment. When I noticed a discrepancy in our billing, she quickly identified the issue and fixed the error. Miss Aly is a great leader with a positive attitude and her door is always open. The center communicates incredibly well with parents with a monthly newsletter and more frequent messages on the app with any relevant updates. They even organize fun family events throughout the year. Our experience with administration and the teachers at ACP could not be more positive, and I can't imagine sending our children anywhere else.

A Childās Place, Antioch is the best early learning center my children have attended (this is the 3rd center in Lake Co we have been with). The teachers and director team are top notch and always go above and beyond for the children and the parents. Iād like to call out a few people by name for the excellent leadership of the center and the care they provide my own children: Aly Lowe and Rosa Mendez have an open door policy and take every single comment and concern to heart and work to swiftly rectify any situation that arises. Teachers Sara, Caitlyn, Haley, and Cheyanne are simply wonderful. You can feel the love they pour into their classrooms and the kids- it warms my heart to know that my children are cared for by such warm and kind human beings. The center truly exceeds my expectations.

My children started child care at a childs place of Antioch in 2020. My children have always felt safe and cared for during the day. Teacher / parents connection have always been very open and understanding. This center has recently changed owners and brought in new management who show major passion for their work! I would highly recommend A childs place of Antioch now more than ever! -Also I am an employee at A Child's place daycare from September 2022 - current. š

This is a great place to send your kids. Both of our boys have been going here since infants and we couldn't love the staff more. The facility has done some major improvements which is great to see in all of the classrooms. The enrichments programs offer cooking, STEM and even yoga for all ages and the kids love it !

Wow what a great place! Ever since my son started here at 1.5 years old, I knew I made the right decision enrolling him in this early center. The staff has been resourceful and helpful, and has always gone above and beyond. I get email updates filled with pictures about how my son is during the day as well as a full detailed sheet at the end of day that tells me what his day was like. Not only has the staff been there for my son 100% but they've also been there for me as well when I've needed it most. My son is now five years old and is going to kindergarten this year! I know because of A Child's Place my son has received outstanding education that has fully equipped him for big kid school. My son loves to learn and I contribute that mainly to A Child's Place. A Child's Place is so much more than a daycare. We will miss this place dearly!!!

The director here doesn't know anything about caring for the children and especially how to help with the children that need more 1 on 1 attention. I know that they make the staff do a ton of lesson planning, curriculum work and observations to look good and professional but in reality, they don't care what the teachers do or if they don't do anything at all. I've also seen the director and assistant director sitting in the younger classrooms gossiping with the staff about the parents and completely ignore the crying babies. There's also a staff member in the infants classroom that's always yelling at the babies! I'm glad that she was never my daughter's teacher but it always made me feel so bad for them. They don't care about the development or education of the children. The owner, Francine is very rude and always blames everything on you. She focuses on being cheap to save money rather than providing the quality care for our children that we pay for, which is way over priced. The children are constantly being bumped around from class to class causing the children's schedules to mess up because of the lack of staff. They make it look like they know what they're doing but it's honestly a nightmare in here!
