Today was my first time bringing my daughter to Gigi’s Playhouse in Hoffman Estates and it was amazing. First off as a mom I was nervous to come just her and I with no other help cause what if she didn’t sit for LMNOP time. Everyone was so welcoming from the staff to the other parents, they were so sweet and the vibes were genuine - good people. We will be coming back!! Oh and also they gave us a really nice welcome bag with a cute purple shirt and a book from Gigi!

BE AWARE!
The place looks ok. I was able to see toys and games for mostly infant children. However, they are VERY strict about who comes here. I wish they would be more specific about what kind of children they allow. My son has special needs, however, he doesn't have down syndrome. They didn't allow him in. I thought because it is a safe place for special needs children my son would be ok in here but we were turned back when some flyers about where to get therapy. The place wasn't even crowded. There were 2 more kids in there. My child is 4. He didn't understand why we weren't allowed in and had a bad crisis because of it.
So I talked to my son's therapist about this and she did mention that this place is picky and strict and it has happened to other of the kids she works with as well.

Excellent programs and staff! We have belonged to this playhouse for almost 12 years and do happy to have it so close to us! We have gotten support for us and our daughter and so many resources! It’s a great place to do program's and or volunteer!
Hugs and Mugs is a great place to get gelato, chat or a cup of coffee! Our kids like to make special mugs and water bottles there for Father’s Day and Teacher gifts! Quality. Experience is great!
