My daughter started going here a little bit before her first birthday. This is my first experience with putting any of my kids in a daycare and I was very nervous coming into this experience but I have to say with all my concerns they have done an amazing job making this worried Mama feel better. Everyone knows her name when we walk in the door and she's greeted with Love and understanding. You can tell everyone there has the babies and kids best interest at heart. I know a lot of the teachers are mothers themselves (even the ones that aren't), know what it takes to take care of our babies while we can't and that's really what matters to me at the end of the day.

My kids have been going to this KinderCare for about 7 years now. This is an amazing care center where its more than just babysitting the kids. They actually help the kids learn new things and they are always doing fun activities with the kids. They offer a great summer program as well while the kids are out of school. I recommend this daycare center!

I want to start off saying my oldest has been going to "Kindercare " since he was a baby I moved to Elgin and moved him to this one about two years ago .. At first I loved it my sons enjoyed going . You entered the building it was very welcoming, teachers looked like they loved being there . now my two sons were attending that I removed from this center due to cleanliness, Short staffed , curriculum not being done , they no longer where learning and this center is "NAEYC" so very disappointed! there were just playing all day . Breakfast/Lunch food still left on the floor or table past nap time
Bathrooms with pee on them not being clean properly. My son started crying saying he doesn't want to go to school , voicing to me that he was scared . Started not to go in , giving me a harder time then he usual , It was no longer doing any good for my kids. Overall I was disappointed 🙁 it was a good daycare at the beginning

They are now an a different center (not Kindercare ) and both of them are expanding there vocabulary, learning a lot of new things . Meeting new friends , they have a routine there loving it. & they are no longer scared. Now all of us are much happier 🙂

My son has been a part of the KinderCare family on South Street since the beginning of this year and the teachers and administrators have gone above and beyond to make his stay at school fun and educational. This is his first experience with preschool and because of the incredible effort on part of the school and the teachers it only took him a week to adjust to school. Other than education, they also encouraged my son to eat and socialize with other kids. I am very thankful for the wonderful staff!

Had my kids here in the beginning of this year and didn’t have a pleasant experience due to every 3/4 months they charged me with a new season fee of 200$+ for 3 children. That’s not including in the registration fee nor the weekly tuition. Also whenever there’s short staff they’d message me minutes before I typically drop them off that I CANNOT bring my kids due to short staff. When I asked for reimbursement of such days I was told I couldn’t bring them I was given the response from the director no. She said she can’t fix anything with payments and that I’m already getting financial assistance so she couldn’t do that for me but for other families she tried to reimburse them with allowing them to being there kids an extra day. Very unprofessional on top of a teacher raising her own concerns to me about the poor curriculum the students receive.

First time I have ever had to use a daycare center!
The staff is very friendly, professional and takes well care of my 2 grandchildren. I love that I get daily updates and pictures through out the day of activities the children do. I can go on and on, I have nothing but a good experience with KinderCare.

Our kids have been going here for over 3 years and love it. The teachers are compassionate and caring and the kids get along so well together. They are Learning so much!

my son went from an in home daycare to kindercare on south st and i have to say best choice i made ! the staff there is so helpful, kind , and loving . he’s always happy to go to school . they treat my son if he was one of there own kids 😊 i just love kindercare south !
