I'm not sure about these other people's experiences, but I just went there and it was a great experience. They assisted me with my licensure and we're exceptionally helpful and patient. I had to Google their address and saw the one stars - the present staff are undeserving of such a low rating. So I came back to correct that.

Of course, it's still a govt office - not a fun house.. but one of my best experiences with these kinds of offices. I should note btw that the listed address is incorrect - they're in the Murphy courthouse.

I called them and told them I needed fingerprinting for the Health Care Worker Registry and they set me an appointment to come in. When I came in and handed my paper to the lady behind the desk, she started asking me questions in an interrogative type of way. She was raising her voice, cutting me off, just a real nasty personality. I told her 3 or 4 times if you do not want to do my fingerprinting here, give me my paper and I'll go somewhere else. She didn't hand me my paper so I can leave, she continued being argumentative and nasty! I almost wanted to snatch my paperwork out of her hand and walk out, it took a lot in me to keep my composure and not go beyond verbal confrontation. People, please beware of her!
