This school is awesome definitely would recommend coming here. There’s quite a lot to learn and to take in while coming here and they get you well prepared when getting a job for your new career path. You get 2 lectures one involves QC (quality control) teaches you about all the techniques of all the measuring tools they use to inspect the part or peace that you can create using a milling machine and a lath machine or a Star machine ext. Next would be the lecture involving on how to use the machine with my favorite teacher Carmen. If u don’t have him get him as your lecturer or shop teacher this guys teaches you all the ins and out of the machine from the G codes To M codes from lecture class and how the machine operates and how to read the prints. Shop class from learning the controls of the machine watching on how it operates and more. If you come to this school you will be ahead of the game and this school has a great name to get you in the job you deserve they are your in and many companies want people from Symbol.

I came into this program knowing only a little about machining. All of my prior experience had been in hand-tooling wood and metal, as well as some welding in high school. The program was easy to grasp and I felt rewarded for my attention and interest. Not to mention that learning in shop was always fun, and always resulted in me going home with a better understanding of what CNC machining required in order to properly undertake. The fact that I will be leaving the training with the opportunity to get a more lucrative and enjoyable job than I have now is just icing on the cake. The instructors are patient and will make sure you know what you need and the only thing that could stop you from learning something here is yourself.

At Symbol the program for starters was great, I felt like I was learning the first day of class l, as well as the vast cnc mill and lathe knowledge that my instructors shared with us about how cnc works and how it can make you a better machinist, as well as what you can expect in our future as a cnc operator and quality control specialist. The staff is great and they are very helpful in your learning process to become a cnc machinist as well as give you the motivation to be an operator and have a good understanding of setup and quality control. I definitely recommend Symbol Training Institute for their program so you can get a good understanding of the cnc workforce and the career path that you can apply yourself to and succeed.

the school was a great experience. we made well over 15+ parts in our lathe/mill labs, learned how to touch off tools, learned all the machine codes went through the programs each night. I struggled with the quality control aspect of the course because of the instructor but overall I highly recommend Symbol for learning the CNC trade

Symbol training helps you understand the CNC industry from a job perspective. It teaches you about all the G and M code. It’s great on teaching you hands on training on the Hass lathe and mill. It teaches you how to operator and setup on the machine so that your ready for the real world jobs. It was a great experience and it landed me my first job in CNC as well. I recommend you take it.

The beginner CNC course was very helpful and easy to follow for those who want a gateway into the manufacturing industry. The mill and lathe shops allowed you to get hands on learning that jobs require. All instructors were helpful and friendly making you want to learn the material more. Symbol allowed me to find a job in 4 months with great starting pay.

Symbol training is a good school I learned how to used the lathe and the milling machine really quickly thanks to Carmine my shop instructor. I learned how to make parts with precision and adjust tool offsets when needed. I know I still haven't learned everything but after leaving symbol I'm still more eager to learn more about CNC.
