Short walk from the cruise terminal if you happen to be traveling that way. Great for little kids. Two playgrounds, some swings, and next door little library. Door kinda broken so don't get locked in. Local crows are nice. Also three restrooms next to it as well.

One of the best playgrounds!
The tragic/romance story of Mollie Walsh.
She was famous and many men fell under her grace. Unfortunately her choice let to her demise. Yet she’s remembered.

A quiet yet lively corner of Skagway.

We spent an hour playing tags with our kid making sure their energy was drained and satisfied.

Beautiful park with LOTS of equipment for children to play with and explore. Park is dedicated to Mollie Walsh... a tragic American story. See her bronze statue, read the inscription.

Skagway was a stop on our Alaska cruise that didn't have a whole lot of excursions available for our little people (3yo and 1yo). We decided to wander with them around town instead pay for an excursion. After collecting our souvenirs, we asked a local about a park for kids and they recommended this one. This is an excellent park with new equipment and a fun forest theme. They have six unisex bathrooms and the gendered bathrooms have diaper changing stations.

Great (and free) place for the curious child that loves trains to take in some history. Only sad part is the aging stock and knowledge it will probably not move from here (unless to the scrap yard).

Great playground with numerous slides, climbing options and swings in historic setting. Kids have a fun time playing here and toilettes are also available for younger and older visitors.

We had only few hours visiting Skagway after our train ride and kids needed a playground. Kids really like this small playground and I think it’s the only one in old town Skagway. The tire chip ground is great, a bit bouncy and safe. Tree shape climber is also very cute.
