I have worked for Manpower before in Attleboro Massachusetts back in the 1990's. They are a decent company to be tempted out by.

I now reside in O'Fallon, IL and I attempted to contact them once again. When listening to the outgoing automated voice mail, it says to leave a voice mail at the beep. There is not beep. Therefore, the idea of leaving a voice mail is non-existent. (That is one strike!)

Second, I filled out there small form. About ten minutes later, I get a phone call back not from a recruiter from the facility in which I had an interest in. But a call from Vienna, Virginia. I let it go to voice mail. They didn't leave a message. (unprofessional). I called back. The call was being outsourced to another country.

I want to know why the employment agencies are virtual in the Metro East? They are here today, and gone tomorrow. Just what is there malfunction? Googling the address in Fairview Heights displays a location, but not ground level shots. Which means, it doesn't exist.

This area has a lot of issues, and I continue to see it degrade.

The office employees drag their feet with everything. Something I needed done in order to get paid took just a few minutes over the phone with one employee after having waited for another employee to do his job over a week prior. Major details are forgotten or not shared and nobody ever knows anything. For one particular topic regarding the client I worked for, I literally got six different answer for. Six! And neither answer was fully correct. If you became argumentative with any of them they were ready to place you on hold for more than 5 minutes at a time or passed along to somebody else in the office. The manager is never there if asking over the phone but every other time I've visited the location, he's cooped up in his office with the door closed. Is he not aware of the unprofessionalism of his staff? The department that handles issues with accessing your Manpower account can't even get anything right. I was supposed to receive feedback about my account being reset after I lost access somehow. Eleven weeks later, still no follow up.Called their HR today with multiple complaints to be filed. An entire team hired through Manpower has the same experiences. That should tell you something.

Wish I'd have read the reviews if you like getting paid for your labor this is not the place for you express employment has its problems but manpower especially this branch is a joke you won't get paid..

My fiance has had several problems with this company. He called today to see for a different opportunity, a woman answered she asked him why he wanted a transfer so he told her why and what happened he used a curse word describing what happened. The lady on the phone caught a serious attitude saying we don't use that language. First off he is a grown man he was just answering a question SHE asked. It was just an overall bad experience he's worked for manpower several times and it just seems to us they really are not for the working people. Its been disrespect after disrespect with people working at manpower. If it could be different it would be way better experience for a lot of people I know we are not the only ones experiencing this.

Nothing but attitude. Every time I call I receive nothing but attitude I am a very nice person, I have never given the staff at manpower attitude but it seems everytime I call or go up their they have an attitude like they work the worst job in the world and they treat almost everyon like scabbs. They get mad and hang up on the caller (me) because they have miss informed the person and said person is confused. Please go somewhere else just to save yourself the headache no one deserves this kind of treatment. They also don't care if you have children and lie to you about when your supposed to receive a check.

Worst place ever. They make u put your own hiurs in. I cannot access the website to put my hours in. So every check I got was always late. Never on payday. This place is a *ucking joke. Never again I talked to my boss at my job and they agreed it would be best to use staff quick. Never use manpower they jack ur money around all the time.
